Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoy the game personally. One thing I like is the customization. Most sim companies over look this. You can never have to much customization ability
i enjoy the game i just wish modding could be done in the steam workshop
Not the most technically accurate sim out there, but for the time period and authenticity it is very good. Default multiplayer support is also very fun for this genre.

Awesome Game! Gets even better when modding!!
Very fun once you get the hang of it
while some may see this as a hard core train driving simulator, thats not what i see. yes the laws of phisics and the actual operations do play a part, but this game also shows the logestics and the stories that a railroad can provied, like the love of your life coming home, or the famer needed to get his produce to the outside world. Im not saying this game is for everyone, but I am saying that if your on the fence of getting this game, go ahead and give it a try
It like having a virtual trainset
I'm probably not playing the game to its full potential, using all the features, spawning in 600 cars at a time, etc but there's something to be said about spending a few hours shunting cars or running passenger service. It's very much an accessible game to just pick up and start messing around with. It was a worthwhile purchase for me and I agonized over buying it for close to a year before I finally bit the bullet. "I won't have enough time," "I have a backlog of 1000 games in my library I haven't touched," you know how it goes. It's been a lot of fun and feels like i've been transported back to a simpler time of gaming.
I was on the fence, as I'm a model train guy(for the building), but not so much into the operations. I am glad I bought it. Haven't been able to put it down for the last 80 hours. The progression seems balanced, the AI works almost perfectly, and I'm just having fun! I am doing a NO loan playthrough, and so far It feels just about right as far as work load for a single player. Most all contracts are at tier 3 and the Saw Mill is at tier 4. Getting ready to work the coal mine at Alarka, should start to get a little busy now. Makes my laptop cry a little, but performance is good, and no crashes. Enjoy!!
I saw videos of this game on YouTube. I have to say the base game is truly amazing and I really enjoy it. Once I started adding mods it only created more and more enjoyment. A huge thank you to the developers on this game. Im excited to see each new update
