Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Old school cool that continues to entertain and endure even to this very day. Anyone who's been following and evolving with video games since the '90's, may also have this gem in one's archives, amongst many others of apocalyptica (Borderlands 2, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, etc.) and may even find oneself occasionally drawn back into this true classic time and time again, for even more countless hours of continual play. Game On!
gameplay = bullet sponge enemies but lack of ammo, caged off arenas , ambush encounters and the designers think that throwing dozens of enemies at you one after another is a good game design choice eventhough it went out of date since the 90s. And there are no spectacular set pieces to cut the monotony. Vechicle controls is fine until you want to do a 180 or a handbrake turn, or if you want to shoot at towers. Which then, everything goes wonky graphics = low res mud and grime with a design choice to muck everything up. audio = buggy as dialog breaks occassionaly story = BORING, dull , uninspired. charasters = drab

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A classic that holds up big time.
I originally found RAGE while looking to scratch the same itch I loved in the Mad Max-style desert buggy combat from Jak 3 (2004), and it absolutely delivered. The driving and vehicular combat are satisfying, but what really surprised me was how strong everything else felt too - gunplay, side quests, exploration, minigames, and even the moment-to-moment combat encounters. Nothing here feels half-baked, and the game does a great job of giving you a little bit of everything without overwhelming you. It has all the proper fixins I was looking for. Optional race tracks to earn money? Got it. A bulletin board full of side quests? Got it. A combat arena for grinding cash? Got it. Completely optional bar minigames that have nothing to do with the story? Got it. The structure feels old-school in the best way, like a shooter that isn't afraid to let you wander off and engage with side content just because it's fun. The story itself is pretty barebones and clearly not the main attraction. There are only a handful of short cutscenes, and most of the narrative is delivered through gameplay. The loose premise is that you're a cyber-enhanced, cryogenically frozen survivor who joins a resistance movement and eventually takes the fight all the way to an alien stronghold. It stays fairly chill for most of the game, then escalates quickly toward the middle and the very end. I ended up playing through it four times while chasing achievements - collectible runs, higher difficulty clears, and optimization passes. Funny enough, Ultra Nightmare ended up being easier than Nightmare simply because I understood how to manage money and ammo so efficiently by that point. Unfortunately, RAGE also commits two of the biggest sins for achievement hunters: permanently missable collectibles and online/co-op achievements.
Honestly it's pretty fun and holds up well for a 15(?) year old game. I'd describe it as "on-rails but with some driving sections and side quests", it does a great job of being fully contained and respecting the players time. One thing I loved was a lot of the side quests (e.g. races) load to their own area, instead of making the player walk out, get in the car, drive to the area, etc, it just spawns you straight in the car in the race. Also revisiting dungeons for some side quests was a nice touch. Shame they didn't import the card game into Rage 2. If you want some fast-paced combat with light crafting elements, especially in 10-20 minute blocks of playtime, plus a couple of fun side-games (racing, cards, other minigames) this is a great game for the price. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through as I write this (9 hours), figure it's 15 hours or so of fun. Goes without saying though - it's a 15 year old game, get it on sale. *edit*: Also - buy the scorchers DLC. For $2 it adds a few new dungeons to the game, plus early access to the assault rifle is handy.
I had a good time for 19 hours: Good and constant action in a post-apocalyptic linear 3D shooter, with talking.
the artistic vision of this game is still unmatched...feels like playing a comic book by Richard Corben.
Replaying it for the first time since that one playthrough i did way back when it was released, yeah i can definitely see the reason why i never really looked back on it fondly, its... its a mishmash of better games that did things better, this game throughout feels like id Software played and looked at other games and thought "lets put that in our game" and they did, badly. So, why the thumbs up? well, its worth a playthrough just to see how mediocre things can sometimes be, but it isnt a good game, especially for an id Software game. I just hate the way all enemies float around, overly animated dodging rolling etc, they do it so much it becomes predictable, just wait till they stop doing the stuff and then shoot them once with the pistol that you made the "mama's bullets" for, and then keep using that until you start making grenade launcher shots for the shotgun to turn it into a boltgun, and then you have your 2 weapons for the remainder of the games duration, which is about 7-8 hours, i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around for a bit with racing, so i got 10 hours in my playthrough. Theres driving in the game, but it feels a bit stiff and because of that the overall racing and driving, feels tacked on in hindsight. My enjoyment score for this game is 50% At least its better than doom 2016. The graphics are not good either even for its time, considering that doom 3 still holds up a lot better. It just feels like the entire game was a techdemo for the "megatexture" tech. The level design is not good, it feels about as consoley as a console game can ever feel, invisible walls everywhere, no jumping required at all at any point. And the lighting is just so underwhelming, again doom 3 still holds up. Well, that was my second and last playthrough of the game, wait for huge sale if you even think about getting it.
