About

Rage of the Dragons brings back the adrenaline of 2D battles with refined gameplay, charismatic characters and a dual combat system that demands strategy and precision. In this game, every blow counts and every decision can be the difference between victory and defeat.
Rage of the Dragons NEO is a PC version of Rage of the Dragons, released in 2002 for arcades. It was a unique and innovative game, mainly due to its highly praised visuals and technical aspects at the time. With beautiful scenery and animations, incredible moves and an acclaimed soundtrack, it's a must-have for any fighting game lover.
Famous for being very challenging, Rage of the Dragons NEO is based on tag team battles where the player uses two characters, controlling one at a time, being able to alternate them during combat, and being able to use both at the same time to perform unique special moves.
Rage of the Dragons NEO features:
Dual combat system: choose two fighters and switch between them in real time, creating devastating tricks and combos
Iconic characters: Meet a gallery of fighters with unique styles, each with their own story and abilities ranging from the traditional to the supernatural.
Classic arcade mode: Relive the golden days of fighting games with arcade mode, taking on a series of opponents in pursuit of the title of champion.
And more:
Versus mode
Training mode
Dragon Challenge - new exclusive mode
Ranked or casual matches
Lobby for up to 8 players
Replay with take over
All online modes with netcode rollback
Jukebox - choose the music to play in the menus
Over 80 team combinations in classic mode

Mano do céu o jogo tá simplesmente incrível, me fez lembra dos jogos de luta que eu jogava nos fliperama
Really good port of an underrated classic. Game plays really well. The netcode is incredible (0 lag when playing against friends from overseas). No crossplay unfortunately, but it's not that big a deal. I will complain until my last breath about not having a port of Matrimelee on Steam (seriously, we need a Goketsuji collection), but I'll happily take this. Too bad they couldn't attach the Double Dragon license to this; imo it would definitely be a worthy entry in that franchise. Highly recommended.
I'm a casual (meaning I suck at them) fighting game fan who has a particular interest in retro 2D fighters. My primary interest is Capcom titles but lately I have been branching out into SNK and others. I had really enjoyed the QUByte rerelease of the Breakers Collection so I decided to give this game a chance as well. The fact that it is unofficially tied into the old Double Dragon series also was a plus. Having put a couple hours into it, I have to say I like it. The character designs are cool and have well differentiated fighting styles. Honestly, I like them better than some of the designs in KOF, although I am sure some people will consider that heresy. Of course, being a Playmore game (SNK), ROTD will look and feel a bit familiar to fans of KOF, although certainly they are their own games. One of the interesting features of ROTD is that it is a tag team game, which makes it feel a bit different from the rest of the SNK catalog. At 15, the roster is not huge by the standards of 2002 fighting games, but it is enough to make the game feel complete and all the characters have their own distinct identity. The music is an eclectic mix an reasonably memorable. If nothing else, it does stand out for being different than most fighting game music. The backgrounds are passable, but nothing amazing. The only complaint I have so far is that I have been unable to defeat the final boss, but that is not surprising given the reputation of SNK bosses. All in all, a worthwhile game for retro fighting game fans, at least from my "casual" perspective. I will leave it to the diehard fighting game experts to comment on the deeper aspects of the gameplay.
Jogo bem legal, com aquele chefe safado apelão haha.
Rage of the Dragons NEO revives the 2002 tag-team fighter from Noise Factory. It began as a sequel to the Neo Geo Double Dragon game before becoming a tribute, with Billy and Jimmy clearly inspired by the Lee brothers. The fast 2D combat, smooth animation, and impressive visuals still make it a quality fighter. It’s great to see this obscure brawler on modern systems, but it's presentation and limited modes are a bit disappointing. Fun as it is to revisit, it mostly makes you wish for a modern release of the original Neo Geo Double Dragon game, which is far more enjoyable.
