I've played many ports of these games, and owned the ZX Spectrum Sinclair 128K, Sega Master System, Super Nintendo, and The Wii rendition of the TurboGrafx, ( I missed the RTYPES on the PS1).. this is probably my favourite one. They've done a great job at updating the visuals and music whilst staying true to the originals art and composition. I love that you can switch between the classics and the modern and change up the camera angles. I got this in a bundle on sale with RTYPE III which I guess was reasonable for a brand new game and it's two predecessors, I suspect I'm going to be rather busy attempting to get back in some decent form on these games, but that's the major draw of this franchise. These versions allow you to play with infinite lives and to choose which level you want to begin on, which allows you to focus your practice and build muscle memory efficiently. A great little addition. To be straight up, this is one of the best side scrolling shoot em up's of it's era and also ever made, enjoy !
It's a good port and has slow mode within infinite mode for people who are new to the series for this tough game.
- gg.
so many classic things I've seen so many times before! (except for the boss in stage 2 from the first game, which I've never seen anything like in my life.) the ability to switch 2D / 3D on the fly was brilliant. these are great games well worth playing. now if only I could figure out what the heck that second boss is all about. looks so alien and mysterious. spooky.

Une excellent compilation de 2 jeux légendaires. Passer d'une version à l'autre avec une touche est un vrai plus et permet de voir le travail accompli de cette remasterisation.
Yes
This is the original two R-Type arcade games on one collection with the option to play the original or a beautifully updated version of each. It's a real quarter muncher and I hate some of the bosses. Thank you very much to whatever developer decided to include infinite mode.
レトロ感があり良いです。
