Tight platforming, super meat boy like movement, kinda. (It's slippery). Worth a lot more than it costs in my opinion
Really fast paced precision platformer with a good amount of difficulty. Quackley himself has really responsive movement and good control. I really like the retro art style - you can really tell that the devs put a lot of effort into the game's visuals, sound and manoeuvrability. If you love speed-running platformers and wish you were still in the 80s then you'll love Quickly, Quackly.
Fun little speedrunning platformer where you play as a zoomy duck. It is not a very long game, but if you're into speedrunning, there's lots of potential here to work on your times. Visuals and sounds are nice, and there's some decent variety between worlds. The light story also compliments the gameplay. Worth a try; good way to spend a few hours :D

I went to a job interview. I died 5 billion times. 10/10
Very fast, challenging and with a great Spectrum aesthetic :)
I'm gunning for Sir Clive's job!
A superb game, very cleverly priced and with an aesthetic I adore. Full review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrCRGjnOon8
I've just finished Quickly, Quackley! and it's a game that I had a very good time with. What I particularly like about it is that because the stages are designed to be beaten in 13 seconds or less, you always feel like success is only a short step away. Don't get me wrong, it's fiendishly hard, and as with any of these types of precision platform games you can expect to die a lot. But getting back into action is so quick and seamless that you can very quickly move past that and get right back to trying again (and probably dying again). Beyond that, the look is very faithful to the ZX Spectrum, which older UK gamers will love, and the soundtrack fits the action well - particularly in the final stage, where I truly felt the pressure. Players who are susceptible to flashing lights will definitely want to adjust the visual settings before playing, as the warning screen notes. If you're worried about completing difficult stages against a tight time limit, the Practice mode lets you play the whole game without the time limits, and you still get to see the ending and get most achievements. Any negative points? Well, I really like the idea of including the 1980s TV filter, but the way it's implemented isn't the best out there. It's not any real knock against the game though, as you can turn it off. The fact that this is the biggest complaint I can really think of should say a lot. If you like your platformers challenging and fast-paced, Quickly, Quackley! comes highly recommended.
Entretenido, divertido, estresante, gráficos 2D y MUY estresante.
