It´s a pretty good horror walking simulator. I like the storytelling on the radio with the hints to continue. All acievements are story related except the secret one. If you don´t get it yourself look in the forum =)
Generischer P.T.
Genre
Ein First Person Psycho Horror Adventure
Story
Was ist hier los? Das wollen wir herausfinden
Gameplay
Zwischendurch muss man dann kleinere Umgebungs Rätsel lösen.
Played on Linux using Proton, Played for less then an hour and was falling a sleep, Very Dark and very boring, Jump scares are knocking on doors, bulbs popping, all done before, might be something better later on, puzzles?, listen to the radio and take a guess at what to look at (right mouse zoom) as it's somewhat to dark to see what you should zoom in on most of the time. got as far as the school and setting the clocks, picking up books, but that was as much as i could take, boredom and heavy eye lids makes for a dull game, as for being like PT, nope, only thing it has in common is walking down the same plain corridor which was done much better in PT.

I'm not really sure if "FM" is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is not much better than many asset flips, and that's a problem in itself. This is one of literally hundreds, if not thousands of amateur first person jumpscare horror games on Steam. This one does seem to be mostly genuinely made, the question of plagiarism aside, but that doesn't mean that it's good. The game storyline is completely familiar and often used by Russian asset flippers, you're in a spooky apartment building/house whatever and you have to wander around, look at stuff, do a little lightweight adventure game clicking on environmental stuff, and get the odd jumpscare. Yeah, not much in the way of innovation in these games, but some attempt was made in FM as you need to listen for audio cues that tell you when to investigate something further. It's not enough of a gimmick to differentiate this from the ocean of amateur asset flip horror first person jumpscare games on Steam (many of which are free, or at least cheaper than this one). As a PC game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. Arrogantly, the developers demand you should find a way to plug headphones into your gaming PC to experience the games low quality audio. I run a 9.2 surround sound system for my gaming rig, I'm not interested in downgrading just because the developers demand I experience the game in a compromised manner. Developers must never dictate to gamers how a game should be consumed, it's their job to ensure a game is experienced well on any gaming rig. Failure to do this is a failure on their part, and not the gamers. The controls and game handling are notably very clunky, sluggish and unsmooth here, like you're lurching through a sea of molasses. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. Unfortunately, this is something the developer seems to have phoned in, with little to no apparent gameplay testing. They dropped the ball on this one. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 8 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? FM has the far too high price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Payday 2", "Fallout: New Vegas" or "Fallout 4". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
So am l the killer myself? l killed my family with mu hands. That's incredible l think, i passed the game, but someone knows what's the secert (the last one of achievement)? l want to get it but have no clue. Please help me.
The clicking areas to trigger events are just tedious. You never know if you're clicking the right object or if the game didn't detect your click. You spend your time walking around the same rooms, clicking everything until the game finally detects your clicking. Often, it was the object you clicked first but that the game had not registered. So, you have spent 10 minutes walking around for nothing and you become frustrated and bored until you quit. Also, it's not scary at all, not even the cheap jump scares. Paid $1.50 for this and requested a refund anyway. It's bad.
