Questerium: Sinister Trinity HD Collector's Edition

The production style sent me back to the 90's. It reminded me of a great game I played back then, "Noctropolis". For that alone 10/10. Personal feelings aside, it's an ok game, the usual hidden object style, with some pixel hunting here and there. Fortunately it has a map. Lot's of stuff don't make sense, but I let it pass. Finished it in hardest mode with no hints. My play time has idling for cards included and time doing other stuff, I'd say I finished it actually in less than 5 hrs.

Одна из лучших игр по поиску предметов. Из отдельных плюсов - видеовставки и поиск денег для покупки предметов. Очень непривычно для таких игр. Из минусов - бонусная глава, в которой работает только первая подсказка, остальные не прогружаются, как и отметка на карте, которая должна подсказывать куда дальше. Это усложняет прохождение налегке.

Close the game and go to the folder at the top of this message. Do a date/time sort and what you should have near the top is a file named Loc_058.xml. Delete it (it will be rebuilt when you start the game again). If you don't find the file near the top (newest), then try again by going back in the game to the scene, wait some time, and try selecting objects, close the game and look again. Okay, start the game. You should be right back to the scene you left, but it should be reset now. I just did this for a scene near the end that had a hidden object combination that I could not select to finish (glass cutter and box with a glass top). The scene was reset, so I did the scene over again and made sure I did the box as soon as I could and everything finished properly.

A HOG with FMV elements? Sign me up. I really love how this game was put together with cheesy FMV actors with voice acting and the narration of text-based documents you find throughout the game. The puzzles are a little different than normal and more on the hard side which is good if you are up for a challenge. This game is an absolute steal at the sale price. FYI, beavers love beans!

Insgesamt ein schönes Wimmelbildspiel, welches sogar Realfilmaufnahmen integriert und selbst Briefe und Zeitungsausschnitte sind vertont. Erst war ich etwas enttäuscht, dass es im Bonus-Kapitel keine Achievements gibt (die beziehen sich alle auf das Hauptspiel). Aber dann war ich ganz froh darüber, denn das Bonus-Kapitel ist einfach derart schlecht designt und grottig durchdacht, dass es eine einzige Qual war; inklusive einer verbuggten Hilfe-Option, die in der ersten Quest festhing. Das Hauptspiel war echt ok, das hätte eine solide 7/10 bekommen - also bleiben wir am besten dabei ;)

Nachdem ich dieses digitale Ereignis nun am eigenen Leib erfahren durfte, ist mir klar: Es gibt Meisterwerke, die so brillant sind, dass sie die Grenze zur Unerträglichkeit mutig überschreiten. Eine Empfehlung wäre eine Beleidigung für das Gameplay, das sich in stoischer Repetition übt, und für die Schauspieler, die Emotionen so gekonnt verweigern. Doch genau hier liegt das Genie: Selten hat es so viel Freude bereitet, ein Werk in seiner ganzen absurden Pracht gemeinschaftlich in der Luft zu zerreißen

Ohne Hilfe hätte ich das Spiel niemals geschafft.Aber ist wirklich gut gemacht ;)
