In the verdant kingdom of Aetheria, beneath its serene landscapes and bountiful prosperity lies a hidden network of Aetherial Veins, mystic channels of magical energy that weave through the earth like the veins of a gigantic, slumbering dragon. These veins energize the Great Barrier, a mystical shield defending the realm from darkness. However, when a vile poison begins to corrupt the veins, monsters assail the kingdom, and the Great Barrier's weakening sends a shadow of fear across the land.
Step into the boots of Lanze, a fledgling Quest Master tasked with engineering intricate dungeons to protect his kingdom. In your journeys, ally with the Princess Javelyn and Shiv, the Rabbit Thief, to embark on a journey across six unique biomes to battle the corruption that threatens to infect the veins beneath their homeland.
A perilous and wondrous adventure awaits the trio - from the fiery depths of the Emberstone Quarry to the sun-bathed dunes of the Sandswept Ruins - as well as the signs of greater ambitions that taint Aetheria.

Quest Master is a great Zelda-like dungeon-building game that feels wonderfully reminiscent of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Its pixel art, clever mechanics, and intuitive creator tools make crafting and exploring dungeons equally fun. A must-play for fans of classic top-down Zelda adventures who’ve always wanted to design their own.
wow just wow this is a amazing game. not fully done but it is still fun. you can make insanely advanced dungeons. or a simple short dungeon. this game should be way way way more well known. 1.0 will hopefully bring more players. one of the devs named juice is very active too. the game is amazing I do recommend this game.

From what I've played of this game, it's definitely worth it! The amount of dungeons you can create, the various themes that can be played with, the creativity and complexity of everyone's dungeons, the holiday events... All of it is a 10/10 for me! Go ahead and check it out for yourself! It's still in development, but there's already so much content to behold.
This game has way too few people to make stuff with it. We need more people to make levels. More people to make troll levels. More people to make garbage levels. More people to create fun. This game is for you if you love Oldschool Zelda but also if you love Mario Maker or Maker type games in which you can share your own ideas and also play those of others at the click of a single button. And if you get unlucky you get bodied beyond time and space in a troll loop because trolls are amazing in games like this.
Simply the best game if you like topdown Zelda or similar topdown games. You can make your own full adventure game. Obstacle courses, mazes, story or extremely complicated dungeons. Plus, it has big mod support. Custom skins, models, music etc. Even if you don't want to create anything yourself, there are tons of dungeons made by others at your disposal. The developer is awesome as well. Your feedback is heard and also asked for, to improve the game further. Also one of the nicest player communities I have encountered as well. The only downside I can think of is a handfull of features that still need to be implemented (but are planned). Support this game; you won't regret it!
There is plenty here for people that want to make or play custom Zelda-like dungeons. As of this time, story mode is still being made and overworld making is in the works.
This is a great dungeon making game; perhaps one of the best on Steam. The developers keep updates flowing and additions to the game seem like they are never going to stop, which is fine by me. The variety you get with the type of dungeon, enemies, decorations, traps, and items is fantastic, and it seems like I am able to make a different kind of dungeon each time I make one. Great game. 10/10!
I've tried a handful of Zelda-like Maker apps over the past few years. This one is the best. The logic engine is incredibly intuitive; I am into traditional-style dungeons and I feel like QM allows me to build whatever I want. It's great creative exercise. Uploading and sharing dungeons is simple; works via the mod.io service. There's an active community on Discord and the developers are engaged & steadily adding new features. The app even supports *multiplayer* dungeons which I personally have not tried yet but seems awfully ambitious. Wide variety of mods available as well for those willing to play even more outside of the box. Good range of accessibility features. Can use any combination of keyboard, mouse & controller. No complaints here.
I grew up on the top down retro zeldas from the nintendo and super nintendo era and always wanted to create my own version of those. About 30 years later, and I can. Pros: The controls are pretty good for the most part. Graphics are not important to me, but they look like really good for this type of game Editor has a lot of things in it to make your dungeons. Has mod support. Cons: Controls, yep this is here too, but there are somethings that may not respond. They way you change things inside the editor can get tedious at times. Copy/Paste only paste the object, not it's settings. Even though the room can be any shape, the box for that room is still a square. The game is in early access so I tend to be a bit easier on them. If you wanted to make your own zelda type dungeons. I would pick this up. If you are on the fence, just try the demo to see if you like it or not. I may not have much time on this, and only have one dungeon. I am very happy I got this game.
If you were thinking of getting quest, master or super dungeon maker I would recommend quest master any day of the week very good
