Queer and Chill

Juegazo!! Es super divertido, tiene puzzles re jodidos y está re en serio lo de "chill" y re piola el enfoque en la parte de "queer".

Really, really great. As a puzzle game it's super fun and challenging, it has a lot of levels, the art and music are spot-on. However I feel where it shines the most, at least for me a cishet person with little to no contact with the LGBTQ+ community, is that it works as an exercise to help further internalize the dynamics between people of different sexualities and genders. What do I mean by this: sometimes I'll try to match, say, a bisexual man with a heterosexual man and it won't work. Obviously. If I had stopped to think about it for literally a second I would've figured it out by myself. Or sometimes I'll try to walk a heterosexual woman past a bisexual man and they'll accidentally match. Duh. Same thing. However as the game progresses I'll become more and more agile at knowing who matches with whom. It stops being something I have to think about sort of in "manual mode" and becomes second nature to me. The game does a great job all around at educating but it achieves something really neat mechanically. Man + woman is so ingrained in society we don't even think about it, but dynamics between queer people aren't, no matter how much you educate yourself (again, mostly if you're someone like me, detached from the queer community) you always have to stop and do a calculation for that extra second. Through gameplay focused on experimentation and low friction this game changes that. Can't recommend enough
