This is a passion project made by a solo developer.

Explore, analyze and discover, in this space adventure with multiple endings.
Quantum Void is a retrofuturistic cosmic thriller, revolving around space and dimensional mysteries. This game offers two different phases: exploration by foot and space navigation. Choose where you go, figure out what happened and try to get the best outcome possible.

You embody an engineer working for CSMO, a faceless space corporation. Two months into the expedition, during a routine maintenance operation, the fleet encounters a dimensional anomaly.
You and your small vessel get separated from the fleet and are thrown in the outer layers of an unknown stellar system. After wandering a bit, you start picking up faint residual signals in the area. Is it the rest of the fleet?
Find your way across the orbits, explore the abandoned ships, uncover the mystery behind the anomaly, and try to escape...

Pilot your welding-tugship across the orbits
Find the fleet wreckages board them and explore them
Use your radio and computer to retrieve and make sense of the things you find
During on-foot phases, explore and take advantage of every system of the vessels (Electrical grid, computer network, air vents, crew emails and chats, ...) to get to your objectives
Non linear, explore the environments thoroughly, each detail can have its importance. The game world is semi-open in a Metroidvania fashion
Multiple endings
Playable in flatscreen and VR
Optimized for SteamDeck (or any other handheld PC)
Bhaptics support

Very fun small game! Great atmosphere and not overly complex, just a lot of fun. I couldn't get the best ending because
Hans
wasn't there?
Neat space exploration game with some pacing issues
Quantum Void is good. Probably one of the best games released this year. Story wise it's a pretty solid one with nice pacing. Feels a bit like a Star Trek episode. It plays out through terminals, some movies, and interactions with your on-suit/ship AI Advisor. Nothing ever felt forced or contrived. There are certain aspects that certainly could have been explored a little more, but the game does a decent job of tying up loose ends. Gameplay is good, and I was surprised at how well it works as a flat screen game considering its VR origins. Bravo. There are very few puzzles, mostly consisting of choosing the right things to do the things you need to do so you can do other things. It's one of the few times I think I've wished there were more puzzles in a game. The Metroidvania aspect is a little frustrating. You'll need to go back to ships you've explored once you've unlocked new tools for your multi-tool. Your AI Advisor will often recommend a location you should go, but I had one occasion where they wanted me to go to a place that had nothing left to find. It was infuriating. The major problem I had was that there is no in-game method to note which ships are even worth exploring again. You have to remember. Which is fine if you can remember. Not so much if you can't. Probably the best way to get around this problem is to head back to the ship that'll upgrade you every time that is recommended. And then cycle through the ships again. If there isn't anything there you can't interact with, you probably won't need to go back. I ran into a few bugs. One bug prevented me from starting the final sequence of escape. The conversation option simply wasn't available. Reloading the save did nothing. I had to close the game and reopen it. There was also another time one of the ships was inside of an asteroid with no way to dock with it. Fixed with a restart, but it was mildly annoying. Anyway, the game's fun. It had me glued to the screen over the last 2 days.
Played in VR on Vive Pro 2, using original vive wands. You will have to remap controller buttons for wands by deleting primary button on one hand, and deleting secondary button on the other hand because the auto-apply makes the menu button be both (a) and (b) at the same time. But I played almost seven hours now, so it works! Fun game and I get to relax and take my time wandering around the ships. I was very pleased that the spaceship flying was handled via your controller joysticks and not a virtual joystick. I had no problem navigating at all. Looks optimized by reusing texture maps and limiting physics objects, among other things. Runs great. They even got in-game overhead projectors to map(?) the light hitting the wall to match the color of light beams traveling through the air over your head. Never seen that in VR before. And you get cute dog pics as a special treat!
Cool VR graphics - I like the story. There's little combat here; you mostly explore and discover secrets, but it's engaging. The enemies could be a bit more interesting.
Absolutely amazing game, great exploration mystery game set in a science fiction future. I only played the 2D version. Story is interesting and compelling, with solid game mechanics and good puzzles. Absolutely recommend this game! I only played the non-VR version.
