**Nota: 10/10.**
I finally got around to playing Quantum Break, and overall I had a good time with it. The idea of mixing a game with a live-action TV series was honestly pretty cool and something I wish more games experimented with. That said, the "choices" you make throughout the game didn't really change the episodes in any meaningful way. Most of the differences felt more like small nods than actual branching storylines. One thing that really started to annoy me was Remedy's obsession with putting so much of the story inside collectible documents. They did the same thing in Control, and I wasn't a fan there either. Some of the documents are ridiculously long, and if you don't stop every few minutes to read pages and pages of text, you end up missing important context. I wanted to play the game, not spend half my session reading. I played on Hard, and the snipers were by far the most frustrating part of the combat. There were moments where I'd die before I even had a chance to react, which honestly gave me Halo 2 Legendary sniper jackal PTSD. The checkpoint system didn't help either. Sometimes I'd get killed by something cheap and the game would throw me so far back that it felt like I had to replay the entire encounter. The story itself kept me interested from start to finish. I was expecting some kind of twist near the end, and thankfully the game delivered. Without spoiling anything, I thought the ending was clever and did a good job of making the game's time travel rules feel consistent. Looking back after the credits rolled, a lot of earlier events started to make even more sense. The supporting cast, however, was pretty weak. Beth was easily the standout character, but I honestly didn't care much about the others. Liam's storyline especially felt pretty cringe to me, and I just wasn't invested in his character at all. As for the gameplay, it's genuinely fun. The time powers are the highlight and make the combat enjoyable throughout the game. My biggest complaint is the cover system—it just feels awful. I died more than once because Jack decided to stick to a wall or object in a way I didn't want, leaving me completely exposed with no real way to react. Despite its flaws, I'm glad I played it. Quantum Break has some really interesting ideas, solid gameplay, and a story that kept me thinking after the credits rolled. It just gets held back by frustrating design choices, weak side characters, and Remedy's habit of hiding too much of the narrative in collectible documents. 7/10. Worth playing if you're into time travel stories and Remedy's style, just be prepared for a few rough edges.
Great game in terms of visual , story and gameplay mechanism.
Playing this game for the first time in 2026. Mods that I've found necessary: - Fov Fix via Cheat Engine: the initial fov of 65 is way too close, 80/85 is comfortable - Reshade+Luma: You just need Luma for HDR and the game will look a ton better - Disable motion blur and depth of field: The game becomes less of a blurry mess Not a mod but I opted to frame rate limit to 60fps because the Northlight engine that the game is built on does not like going above 90 apparently. When the frame rate is over 90 the menus and real time cut scenes become laggy or stuttering messes. Frame rate limiting was achieved thru AMD Chill and by enabling Steam overlay with the FPS counter shown. Without the Steam overlay the frame rate doesn't stay within the AMD Chill defined limits and the frames go north of 90. For better image quality some sharpening was also applied via AMD software. As far as the game goes, I'm enjoying it. At the end of Act 2 and the story is entertaining. The visuals with HDR are pretty spectacular. The gameplay... is where problems creep in. Combat has been fine so far but just moving around the world you'll find janky environmental interactions like getting stuck on invisible edges that prevent you from running up stairs or elevated spots on the ground that you'll get stuck on. Boxes that you can jump on are the same as boxes you can't jump on and ledges/platforms that look like they can be jumped on are walled off because that's not how your supposed to access that area yet... Consistency would be appreciated. Thankfully, Remedy figured this out in Control. Will update this review on completing the game. As for current feelings, once the game is set up and running its visually stunning, the story is engaging while the gameplay is mostly standard shooter stuff mixed with a scavenger hunt. There are Alan Wake references in here but I don't think Remedy has access to this IP to bring it back into their extended game universe. Would recommend this game for those interested in Remedy's work. Edit - Completed the game. Didn't opt to replay any chapters with the alternative decision routes as, while decisions change, the past... There is a whole subcontext given to the game thru the collectibles. I didn't read them while playing the game as the main story was cohesive as is but the collectibles paint a whole other game that could have been and may have been if Quantum Break 2 had been made. Some snooping around message boards reveal that a character in this game is an alternate reality version of Jessie Faden from Control which threw me for a loop for a second. Then the main character of this game, Jack Joyce, is Sheriff Tim Breaker (get it? huh? wink wink) in Alan Wake 2. Then there's another character that Remedy loves having in their games with a remarkably consistent naming scheme. Needless to say, the story, graphics (if you can mod it to get over the technical problems) and gameplay are a good romp and the game takes on more meaning if you're a fan of Remedy's work. Highly recommend.

I am playing in 2026, after having played Alan Wake, American Nightmare, Control and Alan Wake 2. I am totally hooked into the Remedy Connected Universe. The stories in these games are amazing and the execution is always top quality. Now, 11 hours into Quantum Break I can say that this game is everything I expected: a unique action packed and story driven joyride that I highly recommend.
um jogaço, agora que tenho um pc consegui jogar e valeu cada centavo, personagens muito bons historia muito boa (pelo menos ate onde deu pra entender kkk) nao sei como a galera torceu o nariz pro jogo na epoca.
