This game reeks of 2012 and handles it very well. Love the setting, story, and artwork. The controls are floaty, but I think it serves the game well, adding a bit of randomness in what would otherwise be a bit too straight forward. It's short and simple, but super interesting, and well worth the price.
The story was intreging and fasinating
Super recomendo!

Aqui a conversa é diferente.

Liked - story was intriguing. The characters are well-written, even down to the civilians. Dialogue is minimal, but showed the characters' thoughts. Like the insight into Markor's mind. - puzzles are great!! Although I struggled with some of the later puzzles, they were not frustrating to the point where I'd stop playing. - the art is sumptuous. love the designs Things that can be improved: - The sound design. The loud footsteps of the protagonist can be jarring at times, especially since it is a stealth game. Other than that I found the minimal music and the use of music cues to heighten the tension effective. - All the puzzles were good and had room for failure, but there was one
(the rooms where I had to shed the blood of 3)
where I got stuck and there was no way to "reset" without quitting the game and returning to the previous save point. - the controls for the alchemy puzzles were clunky. They felt counter-intuitive to me, so I kept removing things I didn't want removed, and picking/selecting things that I didn't want to select. Maybe one key to select and drop would be a better option. Overall, I really enjoyed this game. It was intriguing enough for me to spend some of my non-game time thinking about the story, or a puzzle I was stuck with. The world that is created is one that is rich, and makes me want to learn more about the mythology behind this game. Worth the time and the money.
Me diverti muito. História excelente.
A terrible, long-winded introduction that is approximately five solid minutes of reading and then you're thrown into the game with no tutorial whatsoever. You'll almost certainly get killed in the first room 2 seconds after the mission starts. Eventually you'll probably figure out that there's a "walk silently" button and a "kill people" button. All around, a bad introduction to the game. Nothing in the game is bad -- it is just pretty basic. There's not a lot you can do other than "walk quietly" and "stab people", so your tactical options are limited. No dousing torches to make the room dark or causing a disturbance to pull guards away or....all the other things that many other better stealth games do. If you're really wanting to play a stealth game and have already finished ALL the other better ones...maybe give this a try? But most likely, there are a lot of other better games out there you haven't got around to yet.
Thoroughly enjoyed this game. The stealth and puzzle mechanics are well thought-out and engaging, but the main draw for me was the story and the whole atmosphere. This game is a small masterpiece with all the dedicated artworks, bits of lore, painted backgrounds, poems and the arabic typographic glyphs everywhere. I've never played a game like this one. You can see a lot of love went into it. Yes the gameplay can feel a bit "dated" or janky at points, but if you look past that and can get into the atmosphere I'm sure you'll enjoy it. The game has a few endings and is generally worth exploring through the numerous achievements created by the devs. Basically the only thing that really annoyed me in this game was
the blood gate (🩸🩸🩸) bug. I really wish they'd fix that. It's not a deal breaker though, as (luckily) it's an extra area, and you can get basically every achievement even with this bug. It is annoying though and makes progression more difficult, as you cannot make use of the shortcut it provides.
So it's not a big thing, just annoying. Other than that great game that you can sit down to for 30 mins, an hour, or however long you like. It doesn't overstimulate you in any way, most of the time allows you to progress at your own pace, and all in all is a pretty chill & immersive experience.
Awesome game, I enjoyed it a lot. It's like those stealth sessions of the good old Al-Qadim. I loved how you started unlocking the map in a metrovania style, loved the story and different endings, some parts were a bit hard or annoying but overall the game and the story were a lot of fun!
