good puzzle game
good
This game have some frustrating puzzles, especially move sphere into right hole. And two dimensional puzzles. I have not completed Sector 8 and additional level yet. But the last puzzle of Sector 7 was the most interesting puzzle in the game so far and one of the most interesting puzzle in the puzzle games. It had perfect difficulty balance and little pieces connected in the big picture in engaging way.
I love puzzle games, and this one is a pretty good one
The most mid expirience of my life I have played first Q.U.B.E. all the way back on first version before the directors cut, and all i can say - not a single trace of the original game in sight Artstyle is gone completley. Entire game is in the setpiece of Q.U.B.E. 2. No atmosphere of deep dark space or moody corridors of destroyed alien construct. Everything is so bright and shiny, contradicting the writing of directors cut edition. Puzzles - half of them cut, alot of them replaced. Replaced puzzles feel like "slaped together" instead of "conviniently constructed" (especially last puzzle). Dont get me started on DLC with Sector 8. There is a lot of dumb velocity based movement. Instead of thinking harder you playing russian roulette with physics engine. Even cutscenes became very stale - no more cool elevator drop in the end of sector 5, ending looks jaring, transitions between levels are more static and instead of cool reactor at the end of sector 6 we get a damn organic cube??? Game became very short and forgetable. 2011 version had good artstyle being limited to its engine. Now we get poorly optimized ray tracing and dlss and still Q.U.B.E. 2 looks better. Speaking about perfomance - game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ its pants when you are moving between certain sections of the levels. Sewere dips in perfomance, FPS drops to 0, and its not tied to level loading, lol, no. It feels like you are going trough invisible seam that loads next section in one huge chunk AND loads previous section if you walk backwards. This is 5/10 at best
Графика приятная. Задачи в меру простые. Нет русской озвучки. Оценка игры 8 из 10.
