About
Play in VR or with Mouse/Keyboard.
What if you received a box filled with mysterious toys from the fourth dimension?
• Playfully explore and marvel at beautiful shapes powered by a groundbreaking 4D+time physics system.
• Poke, throw, roll and watch as they disappear into a dimension you can't see.
• Get an intuitive feel for how four-dimensional objects behave:
• Become a child of the fourth dimension.
In this case the 4D is not time but a 4th dimension of space that works just like the first three dimensions we are familiar with. If you count time these toys are 5D.
It turns out that the rules of how objects bounce, slide and roll around can be generalized to any number of dimensions, and this unique toy lets you experience what that would look like.
Features:
• Over 100 beautiful interactive scenes to play with, with more to be added in updates.
• Groundbreaking 4D+Time Physics Engine that uses new mathematics created for this project (see SIGGRAPH 2020 technical paper).
• Bonus: 2D/3D "Flatland" Interactive Explanation teaches by analogy about a fourth spatial dimension.
• Both VR and regular screen (Mouse and keyboard) support.
• Export Mesh for 3D printing, etc..
Some things to do:
• Roll down 4D marbles down 4D terrain!
• Play with a non-intersecting 4D Klein Bottle!
• Manage to fit the hypercube into the hyperhole!
• Unbind Rings using the fourth dimension!
• Make levers that throw hypercubes into the fourth dimension!
• "Squeeze" out objects into the fourth dimension!
• Play in a 4D ball pit!
• See Tesseracts (i.e. 4D hypercubes) slide down slopes!
• Make 4D objects levitate using the Anti-Gravity feature.
• Use the 4D shapes as fancy, perfectly symmetric, fair dice that have 5, 8, 16, 24, or even 120 and 600 sides!
• Make a stack of 4D hypercubes and smash it!
• Set up an interesting path for a few 4D dominoes!
• etc...!

Reviews
Its a cool idea, but you're paying $15 for something you get bored with in an hour. I wish there were more features, or maybe a custom builder just to raise engagement
It isn't really as interactive as I wanted it to be. It is more like throwing shapes in directions to hope it spins in a way you want. No actual dedicated tool to rotate.
If there were challenges like moving a hypersphere into a 4d Klein bottle, then it'd be worth £10.99 ($14).

I love that this exists, I feel like this mechanic could be turned into a Portal-style game somehow
Worth it. Really helps to try to imagine the concept of 4 dimensional thinking, what it would look like for us if a 4D being was playing with us and trying to explain what they see. It doesn't make sense, in the way that we can never truly truly picture it, but at the same time it does. They walk you through the first 3 dimensions 1 at a time first, before getting to 4D. Showing how if a 2 dimensional creature was playing with you and you kept trying to move a 3D ball through there world, they could only ever see 1 slice of the 3D object, a circle, in varying sizes as you push it through and back again, they'd even see it pop in and out of existence as your 3D sphere moved beyond their 2 dimensional plain. In 4 dimension, it's the same concept 1 level higher. A 4D shape would comprise many 3D layers all combined yet somehow not overlapping in the way we think they would. Just like a bunch of individual circle layers make up a sphere, a bunch of 3D spheres or cubes make up a single 3D hypersphere or tesseract. So if a 4D creature moved the 4D object through our 3D world to try and show you it, and explain it to you, all you'd ever see is one individual slice or 3D view of the object, growing and shrinking as it moves through our 3D plain, and disappearing and reappearing in our perspective as it moves beyond and back into our plain. That makes sense, and also doesn't all at the same time. In the way a 2D creature could TRY to understand what all those circles put together could look like, but can't completely, because it just can't imagine beyond its 2D world. It tries, but never FULLY gets it. In the same way our brain can't fully picture a whole bunch of 3D versions of a sphere somehow making a similar higher level structure. But we can get close. I appreciate this level of thinking. Makes me wonder if some things in our world are our interpretation of 4D objects. Such as black holes, or perhaps, the supposed glowing orbs spotted by pilots in airspace (or the foo fighters seen in WW2) could they be 3D "parts" or a 4D object snaking through more than 1 3D dimension, like a 4D snake? Could a black hole be so heavy its poking straight into another dimension? Cold dark matter be the gravitational influence of other nearby dimensions/realities only able to interact with us gravitationally? Could dark energy be a leak of space or energy from a 4th dimension? Is the Combine on the other side ready to invade after we break through to another dimension in Area 51? One can only speculate.
Cool, but not worth the price. Give it a go though if you don't understand the 4th dimension.
This game really needs a volume view like in 4d golf. That would be so cool
It helped me understand the fourth dimension a lot clearer.
SO FUN AND INTERESTING
