Supergiant's second best game.
This is an underrated gem of a game. This came before both Hades games, but after playing through it I have to say I think this is their best writing work. The entire cast is super fun and I got attached to my entire team, and seeing the epilogue for them all was an amazing reward. 10/10 also hearing the familiar VAs in different roles was neat too
Absolutely beautiful and astonishing game, I downloaded this game expecting another piece like Transistor or Bastion but what I got was completely different and out of all Supergiant games, this one stuck to me the most. Great story and epic scores all set in a beautifully crafted world alongside one of the most well written characters even to this day. I understand why this game is not as popular as other SG games because of its niche prison basketball mechanics and visual novel story telling. But if you have the patience for it, I highly recommend the game
Genuinely one of the best games ever made. Incredible story and artwork, completely intoxifying visuals. The core strategy and gameplay leaves you very engaged and captivated. Seriously cannot suggest this game more, you have to check it out. The soundtrack is an incredible piece of artistic expression and matches the game perfectly.
Some games let you pet the dog, this one lets you tell him what you think of his mustache. 10 out of 10, would compliment his stylish 'stash again. Rukey is the best boy. Oh, right, the rest of the game is pretty cool too. Lots of good story and very atmospheric.
Moustache dog and one eye snake
Truly their worst game: self serving, long stretches were you can't play, confusing gameplay and overall everything a Supergiant Games shouldn't be. It's more than fine to avoid this one, no matter how big of a fan you might be of the developer.
