This Game has good potential, Good atmosphere ,Decent story ,Monsters are scary ,Good Puzzles but The environments are too dark and light source from player(Flashlight and Flare) is helpless , Combat are cranky ,Save system is bad ,Enemies are weird behavior. I really don't recommend because too dark environment make game very annoying. Unfortunately this game.
This game has some nice atmosphere and presentation, but be warned it is full of annoyances and one nearly gamebreaking bug and that will not change. The bug: I was stuck in the reactor due to the game saving items in your inventory and in the world when exiting or dying and thus an item needed for progression is past the point where I need it cause I died there. The annoying stuff: Switching weapons is not done by pressing 1-4 but by pressing "G" which cycles through them, when you a weapon out and put it away by performing an action or going into your inventory you can press "G" again to pull out that weapon you last had! Really bad if you need a weapon with some oomph behind it (there are only 4 and they become gradually better, starting with a rusty knife then pistol) Some enemies respawn and some dont when going through loadingscreens, best to run past everything that is a smallfry! Some enemies have the bad habit of ducking during combat which makes shooting them kinda hard, I am glad I got enough ammo and not an insanely itchy triggerfinger otherwise I would have gone nut. Minor endgame spoiler:
Bossfight at the end can be beaten without using ammo btw, so go nuts when entering what is clearly the final zone.
No updates will come as the dev confirmed: At least I can try his workaround > finished the game, it was good aside from see above. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2284370/discussions/0/3806157798536294250/?tscn=1705445436 He responded as I found this, lol. Also updated my review.
Been great so far but getting stuck on things when fighting enemies and running away from them
