About
Line up patterned blocks to build as many pyramids as you can, then crush them all at once to convert them into points! Pyramis is an arcade puzzle game that will have you matching colors, filling in space, and making chains in entirely new ways.
Designed for puzzle fans first and foremost, Pyramis is a challenging game, and the best strategies demand skill and close attention. For first time players, building a pyramid can be a challenge itself, but beyond that, the pyramids you build can be extended, rotated, overlapped, intersected, chained, and recursive!
In Arcade mode, the goal is to earn the highest score you can and survive as long as possible while the game continually gets faster.
Additional modes will be added as development continues!

Are you ready to become one with the pyramids? Pyramis is a neat block-dropping puzzler about arranging alike-colored triangles in a way where they form pyramids, and then you can destroy said pyramids to cash them in for points. Any triangles that form mini pyramids after destroying main pyramids will also get cleared! It's even possible to make multiple pyramids at once before clearing all of them simultaneously! The game's rules are simple, but aside from piece gravity getting faster and faster as you level up, the game can get pretty involved once you dive deeper! You're able to extend the length of pyramids, form them in different directions, and even create pyramids that cross through each other! I sensed myself constantly going "aha!" to myself as I built a pyramid and noticed some of my leftover triangles being in favorable positions to make another...and then I find another...and another...and before I know it, I'm sitting on more pyramids than I ever could've imagined... Keeping all of these pyramids up before clearing them all at once is favorable if you can manage it too, as this'll score you more points! You can even clear pyramids and immediately chain into making and clearing another pyramid if you stack your triangles right! The mini pyramid stuff is pretty cool too, mainly for survivability when things get faster and faster. Just gotta be aware of how you're stacking all your pieces so said mini pyramids can be made in the first place, and remember to have a plan to make at least one pyramid so they can get set off! Along with the gameplay, I enjoy the game's vibes with its art and music as well! Amidst all the triangle-dropping, the background is pretty colorful and fun to gaze at, and the font for the UI is pretty neat too, especially with the numbers and their sharp, triangle/diamond-esque angles! The music in the game so far slaps too, from the chill vacation-esque starting song, to the more upbeat song that comes in when you get far enough in-game (also plays when you're configuring your setting before starting a run), to the chaotic song with horns and breakcore-esque drums when you get really far in a run, it's all pretty cool and nostalgic-sounding stuffs! Even if it takes a bit to wrap your mind around at first, Pyramis is a pretty cool game to try out if you're into slightly unorthodox puzzling! Looking forward to the rest of the additions throughout its Early Access period as well!
a unique, challenging, and fun puzzle stacker! the music and art are cute and cozy, and it feels good to slowly improve at making a lot of pyramids. also there’s a catgirl watching you play, which all puzzle games should start doing i think
Pyramis is a really fun puzzle action title. Even in its Early Access state the game has a lot of game feel polish and style. The way the pieces animate when they rotate and lock is very satisfying, and the music gets stuck in my head for days. After about an hour of playing I'm able to play somewhat deliberately at low speeds, but I still have a lot to learn. Basic strategy spoiler:
I find it's easiest to setup upside down pyramids as then you can start with the narrow part and build up / out.
I'm looking forward to playing more and seeing how the game develops!
Ok honest review, my brain isn't really made for these block falling tetris style games, but this is a pretty neat take on the genre. Music is bopping and the cat mascot is cute! I just cannot wrap my brain around these triangles lol. Would recommend tho if you like tetris or puyo
I'm not exactly a puzzle guy myself, so i wasn't able to get into this game as well as others have, but i can still tell that there's a good amount of depth within these systems and that people that are more into this genre will probably enjoy it.
this is exactly how the pyramids were built
Always surprised to play a matching puzzle game I've yet to experience gameplay wise! Simple but takes a surprising amount of quick thinking to get the hang of Also there is a cat girl and she is very nice and i don't know why she wants me to build these pyramids but she seems to get really stressed out when i do a bad job of it so I kinda just wanna keep going cause i don't know what will happen to her if i stop. Is she here to help solve the puzzles? Is she trapped here? Is she simply amused by the art of making pyramids? I fear and wish for her well being...
I'm stupid. My head hurts and I'm too dumb to make the pyramid thingy happen and I can't play this game. Very fun tho, it has good music and a nice artstyle. Considering that this game is still in early access, you can bet the game will only become better over time. I definetley recommend this if you like games like Tetris, Puyo Puyo or Lumines
Really fun puzzler :)
this game hurt me brain
