Puzzles for smart: Cats

[h1]Puzzles for smart: Cats[/h1] ist für mich eine Vollkatastrophe. Die Motive sind schlecht aufgelöst. Der Hintergrund ist lieblos gestaltet. Der Soundtrack passt nicht zum Spiel und klingt als wäre er aus einem billigen Hinterhof p o r n o film. Passende Puzzleteile gehen erst nach ein paar Versuchen ineinander. Die Puzzleteile liegen querbeet und man hat kaum Platz zum puzzeln. Preis-Leistung ist unterirdisch schlecht. Selbst im Sale kann ich das Game nicht Empfehlen.

Games from [i]Laush Studio[/i] are generally easily completed. I am particularly fond of their [i]Search All[/i] series as much as they are simplistic and way too short. Then there's this series called [i]Puzzles For Smart[/i]. I gave [i]Cats[/i] a try and boy I wish I hadn't. First off, it starts out like the rest of the puzzle games from Laush. Later levels have more pieces so the difficulty will gradually increase. This is not necessarily an issue. What you notice first is that there is no background (canvas) area where you need to position the pieces i.e. you can start putting them together wherever you can. This becomes an issue later when there are just too many pieces and you have a hard time finding an empty space for them. You know that when a side of a piece is completely horizontal it goes to the edge? Later levels introduce such pieces that go to the mid-section. So these pieces won't help and it is possible you start putting together separate part of the images. The problem starts around level 8. You notice when you complete a section showing an item or part of an animal the images look weird. It is as if small areas were missing. As you are nearing completion it gets weirder and weirder but putting the last piece in its rightful place transitions the whole image to the original photo that we can always look at as a hint. The trailer on the store page only shows the initial levels which is misleading. The last couple of levels alone can take you an hour to complete and this is not challenging but more of an annoyance. As you are struggling to complete them you keep seeing an ugly mess as fewer items remain. I wish Laush had taken more time and effort to properly finalise the last 3rd of the game. Or don't include bigger puzzles but have more of the easy or intermediate ones.

Let me tell you... I put so much time into this out of pure spite. The last puzzle is glitched and I was so determined to get it I did it 3 times. FINALLY I got it (don't build it in sections and try to put them together- it simply won't work) The pictures end up looking so distorted on the last two puzzles likely becuase of whatever method they use to randomize the edges of the puzzles. The game is nice for the first 10 puzzles, but after that I can't recommend it to others until it is fixed.

Cutting glitches in later levels have cats looking like Picasso renditions. 10/10 would build Franken-cats again.

Its a nice short puzzlegame with cute cats. Sadly the pieces did not really fit together (from graphics side) in higher levels. Grab it in a sale for some cute cats.

To be clear, the only smart ones here were the devs. This puzzle uses cat-shaped cuts (among others), and the resulting abominations are not the cute kittens in the original pictures. Level ten will haunt my dreams forever as an example of why man must never play God. Seriously, though. The pictures aren't super crisp and the kittens look super deformed from the puzzle cuts. Is it worth .49 cents USD on sale? If you love all kittens, even the ones most people would not, then yes. The sad thing is, with crisper photos and the deformities from the cuts fixed it could be a good if small game. If that ever happens, I'll happily flip my review to a recommend as some of the kittens remind me of those posters from the 1980s.

Ich weiß nicht wie ich das beurteilen soll... ich persönlich als Puzzle Fan fand es schlimm :x Ich geb sehr sehr selten thumbs down aber hier... also folgendes war mein Problem: Die Puzzleteile haben Katzenformen, find ich ne super Idee aber sobald man die Puzzle zusammen steckt verschwinden ein paar der Linien. Hinzu kommt auch noch, dass das Motiv total schief und krumm ist :x Ich hatte am Anfang gedacht das es n Fail meiner Augen ist xD aber nope... Alle Bilder sind leider so. Sobald man aber das letzte Teil puzzelt erhöht sich die Auflösung des Puzzles auf einmal und alles ist super gerade :'D Was auch nicht passt ist die Background Musik xD Die ist voll Rock und wir puzzeln niedliche Katzenbilder... xD Finde dasa passt auch nicht so :'D Für 3,30€ ist das leider uncool... :/ jetzt gerade ist es in einem Sale für 0,32€... da tut es vielleicht weniger weh. Die Motive sind süß und wie gesagt auch die Idee mit den Formen der Teile find ich toll aber der Rest... naja ^^' Also es bleibt ja jedem selbst überlassen^^ + Erfolge - Unscharf / schiefe Motive beim Puzzlen

Dont bother. I got to the very end where the level ended up bugged. I verified game files with no issue and proceeded to beat the final level again with no luck. After reinstalling I thought for sure I could do it this time. Nope. Being a completionist who didnt get credit for getting everything %100 complete I think you're better off taking your $2 to taco bell.

This is a puzzle "game" featuring kittens and cats. It is not as difficult as some out there, but it is also not as... fun at times. Still, for the price, it is decent.
