Who doesn't like to play jigsaw puzzles? And with friends! This game is a dream come true. I've played many jigsaw games but none of them offered a co-op option. Playing this game with my sister was really fun, we both enjoyed playing with and against each other. It has 18 artworks, some of them look really good and not very easy to solve (One of them took me almost 30 minutes to finish) the music is good, however, I wished for more tracks, it became a little bit repetitive to me, especially since there is no shuffle button. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1380756555 I've encountered two glitches, both of them didn't ruin the gameplay. The first after putting one of the puzzles in its right place, it clipped on another piece. And the most annoying glitch is sometimes in the multiplayer game it shows as if I'm picking the same piece my sister is choosing and it keeps floating around, while in real time I'm picking another piece in a different area. I think this is a sync issue? I've noticed many reported this glitch so hopefully, the developer will fix it soon. Other than that the game ran smoothly. Pros: +Fun game with friends or family. +Can be played either single or multiplayer (Against, or working together). +OK soundtracks. +Good puzzles artwork. +Kids friendly. +Very relaxing game. +In game chat system. +Steam achievements Cons: -Wished for more music tracks. -Would be more fun if the user can upload their image for an extra gameplay. -Playing with more than one person. A multiplayer of four would be cool and with more than 500 puzzles pieces. -You can't save the progress (But the puzzles are not hard to solve in less than 30 minutes) Overall it is a fun family-friendly game, I had fun with my sister playing it, and I believe playing it with a friend or kids would be just as fun! I recommend it to puzzles lovers!
𝐹𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤𝑠 𝑐𝘩𝑒𝑐𝑘 𝑚𝑦 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑜𝑟 𝑝𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝐹𝑒𝑒𝑛𝑎'𝑠 𝐶𝘩𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒
When I was a little girl, I used to spend hours together with my mother solving jigsaw puzzles of thousands of pieces; it was our favorite pastime activity. I've never thought that I could have a similar experience online though - that is, until I first played Puzzle With Your Friends. The game offers two multiplayer modes, in addition to the classic single player one: you can either play coop or against one of your Steam friends. In both of these modes, the board is shared between the two players - basically you build the puzzle together, you see every move of the other party, but the final score is calculated according to the game type - when you play against your friend, the person who sets the most pieces on the board is considered the winner, while in co-op mode there isn't really a winner. The scores are saved into Steam leaderboards for each puzzle / game type. Currently there are 18 puzzles in the game, with more coming with future updates. Their difficulty is average, and most of them consist of 150 pieces, which means around 10-15 minutes to solve a puzzle in multiplayer mode (with a few more minutes on top of that, if you prefer playing alone). The communication between players is done via an in-game chat and as a bonus there are three very cute cat emotes that you can send to your friend. The puzzling is accompanied by a very nice background music. There are 9 tracks to select from and you can skip to the next track if you don't like the current one. The only trouble I had while playing this game consisted in occasional desyncs - sometimes the game fails to transmit to the other party the status of the pieces you already had combined or it shows to the other player that you grabbed / move a piece although none is actually selected for you. These bugs are currently being addressed and considering how active the development team is, I am pretty sure they will be fixed in no time. Overall the game is very enjoyable and ticks all the boxes: it has some nice and not very demanding puzzles, good soundtrack, easy achievements and it offers a very enjoyable multiplayer experience. It's a definite recommendation from my part, to all the jigsaw fans out there. I find the price to be very fitting, and if you take into consideration that you get an extra copy for your friend if you happen to be among the first 200 buyers, then it's definitely a very good deal! At the time of writing this review (about 1 week after release), the promotion is still valid; more details about that can be found in this Steam announcement. Nice little game, works as intended, included music is nice and chillout-ish :) To developers: guys, this game would benefit SO much from allowing users to use their own pictures and possibly music files, too. I can imagine doing a whole Twitch stream with Worms artwork and their wonderful music... if you add that in, I'll be sure to actully do that one day :-))
First impression: low-quality jigsaw game. I love jigsaws, I have done many cardboard jigsaws with up to 1500 pieces, and I'm using two free jigsaw apps on my ipad right now (one of which lets me add my own pictures). I've also played Pixel Puzzles japan, which, though it has its weaknesses, is a much better value than this game. Here's why:

18 mostly pixelated images, and most are ugly or advertise other games
no way to add pictures
the music is equally of low quality
the pieces are in a big pile, there's no room to spread them out
re-shuffling the pile (to bring other pieces to the top) also removes all single pieces from the board
the pieces are hard to pick up because the holes in them are too big, you can click close to the center and still miss
the snap-to mechanism does not move adjacent pieces, e.g. when you can use a piece to connect two or more others, only one of them will connect
the snap-to works at seemingly varying distances
pieces obscure other pieces with no clear rules, looks bugged sometimes
no option to set puzzle size or to rotate pieces
you cannot save a partially solved puzzle
no local co-op (or is there? I only made one profile)
I've looked at this for twenty minutes to give this game a fair shot (and to see if it would windowed -- it does), but I've played much better jigsaws both on my PC and my tablet, there's no reason to play this one. Not even with a friend. (Try streaming a solo jigsaw, any friend watching is going to be tempted to help you with good advice! And for versus mode, just time yourselves on the same puzzles.) Not recommended.

You can play against your friends or with your friends by completing 23 different jigsaw puzzles. You can also play single games with leaderboard competition. Achievements and trading cards are also welcome additions.
Game Breakdown
I think nearly everyone has sat down at the kitchen table and completed a jigsaw puzzle. Whether it was Spot the Dog using 8 massive bits or The Houses of Parliament using 1000 pieces. We've all been there. So how does digital jigsaw puzzling work? There's a long-standing argument in our household that dragging pieces across a digital board until they click in place is cheating. I say if the mechanic is there I'm going to use it. My partner says you couldn't do that using a cardboard jigsaw. Yes, that is true but you don't have one piece missing after two hours of puzzling either. That's why that jigsaw was only 50p at the car boot sale! You won't get any missing pieces in the digital version. Gameplay: 🕹️ There are three main elements to the game. Single Player, Puzzle with Friends and Puzzle Against Friends. There are 23 different jigsaw puzzles to try. They are all manageable in size and mostly have a PC game element to them. There isn't much variety in the puzzles. You won't get a set of animals and a set of landmarks etc... They are all pictures relating to games. The puzzles can be completed within 30 minutes. The puzzles don't say how many pieces they have but I would guess at 60 - 100. I think therefore that this game is mostly aimed at a younger market. The mechanics of moving the pieces around, selecting the pieces and placing the pieces on the board are good. The only criticisms I would make are that the playing area where the jigsaw pieces are located is too small and the pieces seem crowded. I did manage to find a work around for this though. If you minimize the options box you do have a bit more room to organize pieces. It really isn't a game breaker though as the small number of pieces makes it manageable. I did find that placing the pieces has to be quite accurate. My partner was laughing as she saw me trying to drag the pieces around trying to guess where they went but the game was having none of it. It's still quite easy to do the edges though. Even if I knew exactly where the piece went it still didn't lock into place sometimes. I can see this being a major problem though mainly because if you think it is in place and you leave the piece but the game doesn't register it as locked you won't be able to complete the puzzle and it may be difficult to find the offending piece at the end. In premium jigsaw puzzles it will highlight pieces that are not in place. Unfortunately, this game does not have this option. The piece doesn't make a loud enough or nice rewarding sound when you put the piece in place either. There is a very faint golden glow which is really easy to miss so just be careful placing pieces. In more premium jigsaw games you would have sorting trays, a bigger sorting area and many more options to resize pieces etc... In this game the options are limited to Volume, Music on/off, Language, V-Sync and hide audio player. In game you can shuffle the pieces or reset the pieces. I liked the fact that the jigsaw picture was always visible for you to refer to throughout the puzzle, the music was quite funky if not a little repetitive. I liked the fact that you could join pieces together off the board and you can chat to friends as you play with them or against them. Sound: 🎵 Basic and minimal. It’s not relaxing. It’s more of a funky vibe. It does loop so expect to hear the same tune every 10 minutes or so. Graphics: 📺 Adequate for the game in question.
Conclusion
This is a basic jigsaw game aimed towards the younger market. The puzzles are not that difficult and the added bonus of playing with or against your friends or competing solo against the leaderboards is what sells this game. Add the chat room and I can see this being enjoyable to a lot of people. If you want a more challenging or a jigsaw game with more variety then look elsewhere. Pros: 👍 1. Can play against Friends 2. Can play with friends in a co-op puzzle simultaneously. 3. Can chat with friends whilst playing 4. Can join pieces together outside the playing area. 5. No missing pieces. 6. Leaderboards on single game puzzles. 7 Achievements and trading cards. Cons: 👎 1. Lack of options i.e. sorting trays, resizing, highlighting pieces that are not placed properly. 2. Music is repetitive and lacks variety. 3. Not a lot of room to organize pieces. 4. Placing pieces is unsatisfying due to FX sounds being poor and uninspiring. I want to know and feel rewarded when I place a piece. Pieces need too much accuracy to be placed in the right spot and it's not obvious enough when pieces are placed correctly.
Wow! What a fun puzzle game. There are only about 15 puzzles in the library as of this writing, but I hope the developer will be adding more. The puzzles are bright and easy on the eyes. They seem to be mostly from other games like In Vitra and Harvest Life. It's fairly simple, as you don't need to rotate the pieces, but it is still quite nice. The work area is large enough to spread out the pieces if you collapse the menus out of your way and the puzzle area is distinctive. You can change the colors of the puzzle background to 5 different colors. You can snap pieces together outside of the puzzle placement area (some of the time), which is one of my favorite ways to do a puzzle: do a portion on the side, then place it in one big clump into the puzzle. However, not all pieces will snap together outside the puzzle. I found that the pieces will snap vertically pretty well, but not horizontally. And sometimes a piece looks like it is snapped in, but is not really snapped to the puzzle. I know the developer is working on improving this. The best feature of this game, though, is being able to play with your friends. I played both the co-op option and the versus option with a friend and we had a blast! What was funny is that as we were both trying to place pieces in the frame, we "bumped" into eachother and the pieces snapped together! :) There are some issues with the versus mode, though. In versus mode you both try to complete the same puzzle at the same time and the person with the most pieces placed wins. Firstly, it doesn't keep count of how many pieces you have successfully added to the puzzle as you are competing. I hope this is an added feature in the future because I like to see how I am faring against the competition :D. The second issue is that the final scores did not match up between us. For instance my piece count at the end said I did 97 pieces and my friend 53. But my friends showed my score as 101 and hers as 49. That is not good especially if you have a closer score than that. The developer has stubs in the game for adding more modes to play in both the versus and co-op mode (split puzzles) and I am looking forward to that. In the future I would also like to see more puzzles, the ability to change the number of puzzle pieces and a fix for the scoring issue. I recommend the game because it is just plain fun!
Are you a Jigsaw Puzzle fan? *raises hand!* It is an obvious must-have game if you love to puzzle, especially with friends and family. First impression: Wow! You can actually puzzle with friend(s) on Steam? Never really seen this feature in other puzzle games. This game is for you if: 1. Puzzling is your hobby 2. You want to spend relaxing time with your loved one 3. You want to collect full achievements for games 4. You want to teach your child perseverance and problem solving skills. Do not under estimate the power of jigsaw puzzle on your child. Playing with jigsaw puzzle encourages your child to look into details of each piece more carefully. Through doing this, he/she will begin to notice visual similarities and differences. Your child would need to remember shapes, colours, and positions while using brain skills to "deduce logically" the correct position of jigsaw pieces on the board. Time commitment per game is roughly between 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Language barrier? The game is available in a few other languages besides English. It is a simple game, should not be hard to understand the playing method. This game is still pretty new, has quite some room for improvements. I hope in time to come, the developer may consider to allow players to upload their own images! Looking forward to new updates :) ----------- 啊, 不妨试一试以中文写评价, 嘻嘻. 拼图是不是你的爱好? 如果你喜欢和朋友一起拼图,那这游戏就适合你了! Puzzle With Your Friends
My favorite puzzle game on Steam. Being able to coop, being able to put pieces together before fitting them on the board, fun pictures. Definitely recommended.
Even though I'm Japanese and don't understand English, this game is very enjoyable! 日本人の私の英語が得意じゃなくても楽しいです!
