Puzlkind is a non-free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam by lazy, greedy, morally void mobile developers. At face value it looks like a "multiplayer" puzzle game where you can talk to people while doing puzzles, but the way they've monetised this in the most greedy, anti-gamer way possible is disgusting. This is dumped on Steam as "free" but under no acceptable definition of the term is this actually free, they just dumped it on this way to mislead gamers, with bad intentions. They seriously have their hands out for a $200 USD donation as well as a $5/week or $50 annual SUBSCRIPTION to assemble jigsaws featuring crappy art school dropout "art" (presumably because the local art galleries took out restraining orders). Or you can just hand them money every time you want to do a single puzzle... the message here? These mobile devs want your money, and that's all they care about. This is a cash grab money harvesting scheme. This kind of anti-gamer, greedy, mobile app monetisation is an insult and an affront to gamers everywhere and must not be tolerated, especially on PC. Given there's hundreds of completely free jigsaws with better art and better game engines available for free on mobile, in web browsers and on Steam, it's impossible to recommend this nasty, sinister, greedy cash grab to gamers. Note: It seems some of the reviews are fake or were done by the developers themselves or their friends. I guess they didn't read the part about how review manipulation is a no-no on Steam. What else should we expect from mobile devs?

Update(?): They have stopped updating the counter/leaderboard since July 2021. ------------------------------------------------ I love puzzles, especially 5000pc. Although this table top mod's maximum pc is 2000, it is enough to occupy your time and mind like doing a real puzzle. This game is created by a collaboration of 3 persons in a community where they meet up for Pie and Puzzle Sunday : ) before the the 2019 Pandemic. +Strong Positives(Great choice of Software) : Those who have tried 'playing' Tabletop/board games on Steam would know that, those 'games' do not come with instructions and tutorial, hence most of the time 2 players would be confused and just be flipping or throwing chips and cards around the board as there is no program to set the rules for where the chess pieces can go or cannot go. Compared to the above, Puzlkind utilises this mod software to its perfectness! Reason being: Puzzle pieces do not have rules(other than fitting the right shapes together), so the player can pretty much place the individual pieces anywhere on the screen and it doesn't matter where you place it as there is only ONE RULE in jigsaw puzzles, FIT 2 PIECES THAT HAVE THE RESPONDING SHAPE/LINK TOGETHER. The game converts a real life puzzle into a Virtual 3D puzzle(similar to a VR jigsaw puzzle experience). Puzlkind brings out the true beauty of the tabletop modelling software without flaws, in terms of game play. +Saves: The game auto saves your last session, EVEN AFTER MY PC WAS MET WITH A BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH(I think I have overloaded the PC by watching Youtube videos at one window and doing the puzzle on another window). You do not have to complete the puzzle in one session if you want to try doing another box of puzzle. The game have lots of saves slots for each opened boxes, even your friend can open his/her box which has the same puzzle picture as yours but you both would have 2 separate boxes saved. +Control: Camera angles are controlled by either arrows or the mouse buttons. Zoom in/Out using mouse scroll. Very straight forward. There is also an instruction manual in the game and tutorial. Smooth and fast. +Options: A range of simple, yet flexible, options for players to DIY their session. Mat colour, different sound effects, timer(Demo mode not available), on/off for sound, etc. Window mode available! Demo mode has 3 puzzles. Players can purchase individual puzzle boxes in-game according to their interest, or get free access by week or year through a fee. Patron option comes with a free hardcopy of a puzzle from the artists. +Multiplayer: It is important to know that, there is no Open Room options. Modes available are Solo or Multiplayer with a friend code sent to the players who HAVE installed the game. +Extras: There is a Happy Hour mode. It says Pie and Puzzle Happy Hour every Sunday 3:00-5:00. From reading in the Abouts section, you will get too know that, this was a collaboration in order for jigsaw fan who meet in a venue(to have pies and do puzzles at the same time) to move the platform to the virtual world to keep up with their hobbies during the 2019 pandemic. The Pie and Puzzle club includes old people too~ And people from different ethnics background. --------Quoted from Read Our Story page in game, ''puzlkind = our platform to promote co-creation and kindness. We're excited to meet you all - and bring you special guests who inspire us to be better. While we're grateful for all abundance we experience daily, we are simply working artists. In our first year your patronage will help us recoup our start-up costs and support the global language translation of 196 countries(?). Most importantly, once Mike creates back-end coding in accordance with platform rules, pay it forward puzlkind will support access for those who could use the help.''
Positives+++ +I like the rectangle selection tool. The selected pieces are glowing making it easy to know which groups of pieces are being moved. +I like to have the box as reference to see the image. +Able to zoom in and zoom out a lot. +The table to play the puzzle is very big. +I like the "my puzzle" screen where you can see the progression of all your puzzles. +No loading time even for a 2000 puzzle piece. +Cool sorting features and animations. +You can snap pieces together or on the board. Observations and suggestions~~~ ~Pieces can "detach" visually from other pieces depending on the way they are dropped and collide with other pieces. It would be nice if snapped pieces stays visually snapped together. ~It would be nice if the timer would pause when clicking on "information", "how to" or "settings" since those options completely covers the puzzle. ~I wish there was a way to remap controls. I would like to rotate puzzle piece with something other then left click which is already used for grabbing and can trigger the rotation when I don't intent to do that. I know you can rotate it with the keyboard, but the concern here is that if I drop a piece and want to take it back soon after, the piece might rotate. ~It would be nice to have a way to not rotate the box. I don't want to accidentally rotate it. I just want to move it. ~It would be nice to have a way to stop sorting on big puzzle especially since it can take several seconds before the sorting is completed. ~Maybe only allow one type of sort at a time, else the first sort will be dismantled into the second sort if it is the same sort which is a big weird (but funny :P) Negatives--- -I'm not really a fan of the images choices. The color palette and subjets does not talk to me. -There is a bug with the mat color. It does not change to the correct one. In setting, when I click the black color circle, my mat is now orange. -There is a bug where if you sort by color on a big puzzle (2000 pieces) and click on the arrow to go back to the main screen, you can still hear the puzzle being animated when all pieces have not yet been moved. If you click back to continue this puzzle, the animation will continue. -There is a weird behavior where if you click a lot on a piece in a small puzzle, it progressively flies into the air higher and higher like an helicopter :P. -Puzzle stats are not updated when finishing a puzzle. I need to close and open the game again to see "puzls completed all time" :/ Conclusion I thought the game was very similar to "Puzzle Together". Then, I realize they seems to be from the same developers, but under a different names? Knowing that, their other game, "Puzzle Together", has much more interesting puzzle choice, music, free puzzles and features overall. This game on it's own is not bad because the base game is already well done and almost bug free, but the art choice does not really suit my taste. "Puzzle Together" is just very similar, but better in many aspects. I wish there was a neutral review. I really did not connect with the art style choosen. If a more diverse style of images is added, I might change my review and recommend it, but for now, from my point of view, I don't recommend it.
This game is great but I feel the free to play approach is not welcomed when most of the games content is locked behind a pay wall. Paying 100 dollars for a year use of the puzzles is absolutely absurd. The pricing is just not appropriate for this game. I think users would rather pay for a complete experience. All that aside though, this game is solid and a great jigsaw game. My Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHQkwoDIRB8&ab_channel=PepperHomieGameReviewsandGuides
I'm just doing it for statistics ^.^ Have a nice day
Very disappointing. There are only 3 free puzzles, the rest are priced with an ANNUAL PAYMENT!
Sesli sohbetle çok oyunculu yapbozlar! Kendi başınıza veya diğer Dünyalılarla birlikte gülerken, öğrenirken ve sevişirken orijinal sanat bulmacalarıyla oynayın.
It's a puzzle game that you should definitely try. Although I've never played a puzzle game before, I had a lot of fun during my time. It is also free to play. You don't need to buy puzzles in real life. You can play with all of them in this game.
