Puzzle Spy International

Delightful all the way through! Lovely art and vibe with just the right amount of camp to keep you smirking and rolling your eyes, but on a loving way. The puzzles are almost all great with a few being perhaps a bit too simple when viewed within their company. I will also mention that some of the solutions are a bit of a stretch (1 or 2 I still don't get even though I know the answer), but the hint system is very nicely paced and doesn't give too much away too quickly, plus you rarely need to get every single thing perfect to figure out the final solution. Wish there was more so I could chat em up some ;)

Hoo boy, this is not an easy puzzle game! The art and music are lovely, but the puzzle designers are a bit evil in difficulty. Some can be hard just to get going on. If anyone can solve this game without using the answer checker or looking up clues on the internet I'd be amazed.

(Just a disclaimer that I know Mike the dev and I bought the game to support him, but all opinions are my own!) My partner and I are not puzzle gamers, but we found the puzzles fun and accessible. It's nice that all the puzzles are self-contained so you know that if you are stuck on one particular level, it's not cos you messed up in an earlier one! Difficulty-wise, as non-avid puzzle gamers, my partner and I managed to get through most of the game without getting stuck. We only had to use the hint system once or twice to get through some hard puzzles. I felt like it was challenging but it's definitely designed for group play because general knowledge is useful, as the puzzles are wordy! We took about 6 hrs to complete the game. I thought it was the right duration and felt pretty fried after our intense puzzle-solving session (split over two days). The music and art is our fav part! More of that please in future games :) Give this game a try! It could be a fun friends night or several for you :D

The puzzles were better than I expected and the game was shorter than expected (my 4 hour playtime includes making dinner and other AFK distractions). Aside from a few micro puzzles, there are ~8 significant puzzles which I found uniformly delightful. They were all different from each other, each seemed to have a new idea or trick I hadn't seen before, and they often featured nested puzzles with no handholding. My main note is that I think the price is too high. I'm happy enough with my purchase...but its hard to recommend to other folks at $12.50. If this was $5, this would be an easy recommendation to any puzzle fan.

Fun, if short, puzzle game. The puzzles are quite varied, though mostly focused on wordplay. We finished it in a few sessions and enjoyed it the whole way through. If the puzzles in the screenshots look appealing, this is your sort of game and is worth a try.

I played on stream with a friend, it's fun to play with other people (like in a puzzle hunt or escape room) because you can bounce ideas off each other.
