A brilliant puzzle game - I'm a long-time puzzle lover and yet each and every puzzle here felt unique and managed to surprise me in unexpected ways. Feels like it was done by people who truly get what makes puzzles fun and tricky without being obtusely difficult. All of that wrapped in a gorgeous package - beautiful art, fun/ny characters, groan-inducing cute puns - what's not to like?!
I enjoyed this. The puzzles were good - challenging, but in an engaging way, and I was never really STUCK, just temporarily stumped. A lot of the puzzles have a decent buffer though, in that you don't necessarily have to find all the answers / first set of words - because once you start building them up, you can work out the blanks between, and then backfill to the original answer. It's quite unusual to get this type of word puzzle in a video game. It was a refreshing surprise. BUT - it was all over too quickly! At the end of the case, I was genuinely expecting another one to be presented to me. But no. I have 3 hours logged on the game, but I know that at various points during that time I have made sandwiches, several cups of tea, baked some croissants, and more. I enjoyed all of the time I spent in the game, I just wish there had been more game there to enjoy.
The game is absolutely gorgeous and the music is so great. I also loved the puns. But the puzzles lack variety and are extremely difficult if you don't speak english well. The hints system makes the game unblockable which is a good thing and also not a great idea. Because I finished it in 5 hours meaning that there's not a lot of content. I also encountered one bug on a puzzle. Hope the next one will be longer. :)
Very clever, but some of these puzzles feel like if you don't have a specific breadth of vocabulary, you're SOL. Still, the hint mechanisms are generous and there's no time limit. Honestly, this just feels like the language version of Carmen Sandiego!
Cute little game -- playtime is pretty short if you're already familiar with puzzle hunt-style puzzles though.
Fun game, but short. Puzzles were surprisingly more difficult than I anticipated, so I'm a bit mixed since the two hours of playtime I got was still really fun. That said, $12 is kind of a lot for such a short game. I'd recommend getting it on sale, but I think it can still be worth paying full price to show devs there's interest in a sequel.
Delightful puzzles all around, playtime of about four hours, though it could have been even shortly if I was on my game. Well worth the price for my tastes, as everything is well-crafted.
Really good word puzzles!!. I'm not a word puzzle guy but this was super fun love the story can't wait to see more from ya'll. Ya'll did make me look up things that is didn't know about to solve puzzle that that is pretty cool.
A very challenging game, I enjoyed the art, puzzles and story but it's such a shame it's so short. Would've loved a longer game with more unique puzzles!
Delightful all the way through! Lovely art and vibe with just the right amount of camp to keep you smirking and rolling your eyes, but on a loving way. The puzzles are almost all great with a few being perhaps a bit too simple when viewed within their company. I will also mention that some of the solutions are a bit of a stretch (1 or 2 I still don't get even though I know the answer), but the hint system is very nicely paced and doesn't give too much away too quickly, plus you rarely need to get every single thing perfect to figure out the final solution. Wish there was more so I could chat em up some ;)
