"Puzzle Dungeon!! Earthmage Erin" is a solo project by developer Lin from Starpixel Studios. If I were to describe the game to a puzzle lover. I'd say to them "Imagine 'And Yet It Moves', except your camera does not rotate: and you manage cubes in a maze, instead of running, and jumping as you manage gravity." Lin developed the game in respect to the player's intelligence, and I had 100% the game at launch, in only a little over two hours. The controls are simple. Cardinal directions either input by mouse or keyboard will move the cube a specific way. You can try and guide the cube into the hole for a clear, but in order to keep things interesting and unique, Lin had added collectible goats to challenge you to not just focus on getting the cube in the hole: But to do so while getting the goats, as well as introducing secret levels that also feature additional layouts and more goats to receive. I am well aware this is Lin's first game: And in personal contact with him, there was a certain direction that I noticed in creation of his game, and there were expressed hopes of a speedrunning scene in the game. Suggestions to improve the game are as follows, and as a checklist for Lin: In order to add replayability to "Puzzle Dungeon: Earthmage Erin", the suggested features were as follows: *The addition of various timers and segregation of best time to clear. Basically a "Best Clear (Any)" Timer and a "Best Clear (100%)" Timer, with 100% being goat and (if applicable) secrets. *The addition of a function to play a stage with or without the collectibles/secret unlocks after you had cleared it. This would make it so the "Best Clear (100%)" can only register after having gained all three from the current attempt. *The addition of a 'Reset Progress" for people who want to speedrun the game in one setting. (Maybe a "Set the Goats Free" button in "Erin's Farm", make sure to add a confirm prompt for this!) Erin has the potential, through updates, to cultivate a niche speedrunning community with the addition of these features.

The game’s mechanics are intuitively designed, so you’re never bogged down by confusing controls or unclear objectives, allowing you to focus on the pleasure of problem-solving. The gradual increase in difficulty is expertly handled, ensuring that you’re always engaged but never overwhelmed.

good puzzle game along with very cute and adorable art of erin and the goats in the farm! some stages did require me to use my brain more LOL hehe

This is a cleverly made puzzle game. Great for a chill but challenging brain workout.

As someone who's not great with puzzles, I found this quite a challenge every-so-often but I couldn't stop, I must collect all the goats. They're so cute and I loved seeing the collection grow! Unlocking the secret rooms was also entertaining and I'd redo a level just to get the key if I missed it! Would deffo recommend if you're looking for a cute, fun puzzle game to pass the time! And the green squares will be the death of me. Love them too.
