I bought this game to play with my grandchildren as it looked family friendly. The controls were not too difficult for the kids to grasp and I even had a go with many laughs by all!! The kids loved the artwork and characters' expressions and the music is great. The kids can't wait to play it again.
Every time a putty died while its friend looked on, a little bit of my heart was torn away. I have to admit I was skeptical at first about the playability of the game solo, but I decided to pick it up anyways. The game plays quite well on the keyboard, and controlling both puttys is fun and adds a bit of an extra challenge (though it has its difficult moments even in co-op). Music is awesome, attention to detail is superb, and the length + replayability of the game is good.

This game is an insane amount of fun. As in one second I'd be frustrated at a puzzle and the next I'd be laughing my ass off at some silly way that the putties died. I played this solo on a keyboard and while it's incredibly difficult, you don't feel like you're missing out on anything by not having another person. One of the best things I can say about this game that so many other platformers fail to accomplish is it feels like you're actually in a living, breathing, world. Just the level of detail in everything is astonishing. The developers have obviously put a lot of love into this and it certainly shows. The interactive environments, the art style, the facial expressions and genstures that the putties make all add to the fact that this game is just plain fun. It feels in a way like a throwback to when games would ship with no incoming patch to fix all the known issues at launch. The whole thing is a solid, complete package and there is nowhere I can fault it. I cannot reccomend this game enough.
Part of the, "My Girlfriend's Games" series. She loves this one. Finds the characters cute and the game play is a great puzzle variety. "Fun Colors.", "Don't quote me.", "It's so cute.", "Fun Teamwork/Team building game!", "Has everything I want in a game.". 10/10
Great little co-op game to play with your young kids. A lot of fun for a 4/5 year old to play and learn platforming and working together to complete levels. Three worlds within the game, jungle, ice, and desert with 10 individual levels in each. Nice learning curve, unlimited lives, and a fun experience. Would highly recommend. Would buy an expansion pack or sequel.
tl;dr: "Checkepointah!" I was a bit skeptical at first, given the cute looks of the game. It comes off as a children's game at first. While that may be true, anyway, the game is simply great fun with a friend. The Putties are cute to the point of being comical, their facial expressions (often changing depending on what happens) are so extremely exaggerated you can't help but laugh. The gameplay, too, will have you constantly laughing as you swing around and get yourself and your partner "killed" - death is rather meaningless in the game, though, as the checkpoints are extremely frequent. If you're looking for a challenging game, this isn't it. But if you're looking to have some innocently cute/comical fun with a friend, go for it.
This game is easy enough for my 4 year old and 6 year old to play together, and fun enough for me to play with them. Highly recommend.
My Experience In some ways, playing Putty Pals is like watching a kid's movie. Everything about how to proceed is blatantly obvious and minimally challenging. At the same time, there is a lot of fun to be had here. The game features colorful and charming levels, tight controls (with solid air control), a satisfying sense of momentum, and fun cooperative mechanics such as color-specific platforms, making yourself into a trampoline for your partner, or swinging around via each other's outstretched "arms." Although I didn't find the game "hilarious," as mentioned by developer Harmonious Games in the description, I consistently had a smile on my face as I went through. Steam's Remote Play Together didn't work for myself and my co-op partner for this game, but we were able to play online together through Parsec. If you're looking for a more relaxing and light-hearted experience to have with a friend, you could do a lot worse than Putty Pals.
2. Jeżeli powyższy tytuł was zainteresuje to zachęcam by poczekać na wyprzedaż, gra jest fajna lecz również krótka, można ją ukończyć w niecałe 5h – oczywiście czas się powiększy jeżeli będziemy chcieli ukończyć każdy poziom z najlepszym wynikiem. 3. Zaproście do gry znajomego!
We've had plenty of fun playing Putty Pals with my 7-year-old. It's been mostly fairly relaxing, but there are some challenging parts, especially if you want to collect all the collectibles. Nothing too frustrating so far, but we'll see what sort of obstacles the latter levels hold. :)
