This is such a nice collection of minigames that, beyond it just being a thing you can give to your child to entertain them, I think actually you might find that even an adult can enjoy some of these. With some exceptions.
I'll go through all of them here. There are four levels of difficulty, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Hardest, and I played exclusively on Hardest.
Checkers is checkers, but unfortunately checkers sucks. This is a game where, you can get trapped into situations where you can already see you've lost long before you actually have lost, because it's a game where you each take a turn, and each turn, you basically are forced into making a move that gives up something to the other player, it's just a question of how much you lose - and the AI in this game will always make sure they take as much as they possibly can. The difficulty on Hardest is absurd, and Putt-Putt, will show absolutely no mercy in picking basically the best possible moves he can make. It's more fun on Normal difficulty when the AI will give you a freebie from time to time.
Noughts & Crosses (aka Tic Tac Toe) is a joke of a game. It's terrible. On the hardest difficulty, you'll never win because it relies on Putt-Putt to make a deliberately bad decision to win. You'll also never lose. It's just an eternal stalemate until you accidentally make the wrong move and give the game away. It's bad! I can't really blame them for including this, and the presentation is nice, but... yeah.
The next game is 'Remember' which is just that card game where, all the cards are face down and you click on each one, and each has a picture of something on it and you match them until you get all of them matched. It's okay, except unusually for this type of game you actually aren't playing against Putt-Putt, there's no time limit or move limit as far as I can tell so, there's not a lot to it beyond just testing your short term memory. It's okay.
Next is 'Puzzle Blocks' which is, uh... you just click on the 9 images until they all line up. Then it goes 'ta daaa' and you win. It's not great to say the least, it's not much of a game, and there's only one image for some reason? I don't get it.
After that is the weird 'Pinball' game mentioned on the store page here. Putt-Putt calls it pinball, but it's just... a blank, vertical board with pinholes in it. You can put down these little widgets on each pinhole, that influence where a marble will go if it lands on it. Each widget can be faced left, to bump pinballs left, or right, to make them go right, or leave them horizontal so they just preserve momentum. On the right side of the screen, you can click on the plunger to introduce a pinball into the system, and it bounces around until it gets to the bottom, where it exits the screen. There's no 'game' here in the sense of, there's no fail state, no win state, you're not playing against anyone, so it's more of a toy than anything. It's kind of neat to play around with for a few minutes.
Then there's 'Cheese King'. This is a mysterious title, but I guess it has to do with the fact you have 6 pieces of cheese, and if you mess up, a mouse wearing a crown comes in to steal your cheese, aka one of your lives. Lose all 6 lives and... the game just starts over I guess. The game itself is just, it shows you an image and you write out by clicking on the letters or with the keyboard what the image is. At first I thought part of the challenge was figuring out what the game itself is showing you, but no, if you click on it the game just tells you what the word is. Figure out how to spell it and you win. It's pretty easy even on Hardest.
Next is Reversi. Sort of like Checkers and Noughts & Crosses it's kind of terrible and frustrating as all hell. You'll never win, realistically, unless you also are a computer - and even then I can't guarantee it.
The next two are the real stars of this minigame pack. Lines and Boxes is like Reversi etc, you basically make a move then get mad because Fatty Bear never makes mistakes on Hardest and will always take as many points as he possibly can before giving up the fewest possible points to you.
Then there's 'Go Fish' which, as other people have mentioned in reviews, Fatty Bear is a HUGE cheater. I think, if you consider any part of this game to have a story, he's also cheating IN THE GAME because, if you get the card you wanted when you 'Go Fish', he comments on it. He's all, "Hey! You got the card you wanted, so go again!" and... I didn't tell you what card I just got, Fatty Bear. How do you know what my hand is - UNLESS YOU ARE CHEATING? Yeah. I don't think it's possible to win on Hardest, unless you just get extremely lucky, Fatty Bear will always match his cards with yours, and he VERY frequently gets to finish sets just by drawing from the stack of cards.
Then there's colouring. It's a colouring book basically. There's not much to say about it, except that it has kind of a nice palette system, where you can take colours and meld them together on the palette to get different colours, then add black or white to darken or lighten the shade. There's also quite a few images to colour, so that's nice.
'Tangrams' is next, which I actually think I like. You just get a weird shape, and then a bunch of shapes, and you can rotate them and fit them into the thing in the right order to make the shape that it is... it's a literal baby game, but on Hardest it can be surprisingly challenging at times, since you get triangles and trapezoids and squares of various shapes and they can be rotated freely. Each difficulty has its own set of puzzles, so there's a surprising amount.
'Word Hunt' is a game where you just get a giant sheet of letters that's bigger or smaller based on difficulty, and then you find the words in the jumble of letters. It's pretty simple, but hey, it's still fun.
'Guess It' is just a terrible game. You get given an array of fruit, and an array of slots. Your job is to figure out which fruits are in which slot. You get like 10 chances basically, then it's game over and you have to start over on a new puzzle. It's somewhat engaging, but you can actually get multiple of the same fruit which is just kind of annoying. It's not really all that hard even on Hardest, for some reason the difficulty doesn't really ramp all that much from Easy upward.
The second last game in the collection is 'Onramps and Offramps' which is basically snakes and ladders but for cars, which is appropriate, since you play it with Putt-Putt, who is a car. Each difficulty has its own board, which is neat actually, but it just seems to add more spaces and more 'ramps' in general. Hardest has a very mean array of 'offramps' at the end, so if you're within 6 spaces of the end, rolling a 3 or a 5 means you either go back nearly to the beginning of the board, or just a few spaces. I won this game first try, so unlike certain other games (Go Fish) it doesn't seem like the RNG is weighted against you.
The last game is... well. It's called Circus Storming. I guess it's a play on Barnstorming for the Atari 2600, interestingly Atari was the parent company for Humongous for most of their lifespan. It's not great. You control Putt-Putt with the mouse by moving the mouse up and down, and you try to avoid hazards while hitting balloons, each of which fills your fuel. If you run out of fuel it's game over. It's pretty simple. There's a pretty crazy amount of hazards on later stages, and 'Hardest' difficulty doesn't seem to alter the difficulty, it just starts you at level 48.
So overall it's a pretty nice collection of games. I think many of these would just be free now, either in your browser or something else, but I think the presentation here makes all these games feel really quite charming.
