Puputan Legend VR

[h1]Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2 and HP Reverb G2[/h1] I normally wouldn't leave a negative review for a game I played so little. However, I tried to play this game on two different evenings and both times there was nobody online. It's a multi-player online only game so you're unable to play single-player. I feel comfortable in saying this game is Dead on Arrival. Sure, I could have waited longer staring at a menu, but since this game just launched I would think it would have players online during peak times if there were any. There's nothing to do at all while you're waiting. The menu UI is ugly. The music is annoying (it seems to be only one track that is repeated in the store page video). I saw the store page video gameplay and it looks really bad. So, honestly, I don't feel bad giving a negative review. All the information points towards this game not being worth anywhere near the asking price. I'm not sure it would even be worth it as a free to play title. Puputan Legend VR is a paid VR PvP fighting game that is only interesting to Indonesians. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, sounded ok, was understandable, played ? Able to log in anon. The UI is in English. There is no one playing at my time. Able to make a room but it take enough players showing up to launch the room. Maybe made by a Coding school team. Has battle royale, team deathmatch, and team co-op. Very Melee heavy, only two classes have ranged weapons and one has out of place weapon and texture for the time period of this game's theme. Has cross play with Oculus Quest and Vive users. The character models and textures look low rez. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program.
