Reviews
I got this game to play with some friends, and while we ran into some stuff with the menus and connectivity, it wasn't enough to ruin the experience. The gameplay and effects were great and felt pretty good to both see and hear. I can appreciate the cohesive art style and appreciated the effort put into the uniqueness of the ships and characters, along with the text for their backstories and stages, and would really like something more to flesh out the characters or get to engage with their backstories some more. While I didn't have a controller, the preselected inputs were serviceable, but I would have liked to rebind them if I could have figured out how. I think the game is quite worth it at the sale price, and I am excited to follow up with this game on possible future updates, but as of now it's a decent product and has a lot of potential.
