Psychedelia: The Psychonaut

This game is an absolute gem, as a gamer and a psychonaut, Psychedelia: The Psychonaut really hits the sweet spot between a fun pixel art game and a vibrant psychedelic experience. I love that it takes a head on approach with psychedelics and it does as good a job as media can at representing the incredible world of psychedelics. I love the humour and inside jokes and references as well, it is spot on for me and creates a great sense of engagement with the characters. I like the small village vibe and you start to feel at home and I started to really care about what happens with the characters home. The combat is fun and you get to explore the whole map twice, once when tripping and once not. I cant wait to get back to it and see all this game has to offer.

An impressive amount of work and dedication have gone into making this game. There is a surprising amount of fresh, fun content, with gameplay changes just often enough to keep it interesting. It has some rough edges, sure, but none that ruin the experience and it gives me the indie vibes I really like to see from solo devs and small teams early in their careers. Trippy, weird, and amusing, this adventure game is worth a try.

This game took me straight back to the games of my childhood... Minus all the drugs! It's got a great retro feel to it, controls are simple and the story is engaging. The music used is absolutely brilliant and fits the game perfectly. Definitely worth a purchase for a game to chill out to and just vibe with. Great stuff!

This is just the game you're looking for if your into psychedelics and pop culture around it. the pixel art representing psychedelic visuals i really enjoy. i haven't finished it yet, but i am prepared to save the world trippy hippy style!

I absolutely love this game. It's a fun and wild ride! The story is great, the game play is great, and it genuinely brought me tons of joy :) The creator was very nice and helpful if I had any questions. I played for almost 3 hours straight as soon as I downloaded it. I'm still stuck on what I think is the last boss? But I haven't given up! I highly recommend this game!!
