Lovely game! Absolutely EPIC. I got lost in this game for a solid day and was almost late for an exam. Solid throwback game for me to the SNES legend of zelda.
Runs smooth. Plays amazingly, Super fun. Hoping for an elfblade 2. Highly recommend. Amazing work by one man! :D

I don't like that I'm giving this a negative review I was enjoying playing this game I like the music and sound effects (getting hit sounds like getting hit in Decap Attack which is hilarious) The art isn't the best (There's clearly a few places where it was messed up and not fixed) but I don't care that much for graphics so it didn't bother me much The controls were very responsive (and for a game like this, that's a necessity) ...but there's massive game wrecking bugs and problems: - No enemies respawn. This doesn't seem like a bug, but intentional. This doesn't sound like such a big problem, but when it's required for you to get power from killing enemies to open paths, this starts to become an issue when you've already cleared most maps not knowing this. - Money is very scarce. If you buy the consumables or maps, it makes it nearly impossible to buy upgrades you actually need to move forward because the money throughout the map isn't enough to buy everything if you don't know this and splurge on arrows and potions. This could also easily be remedied by having enemies respawn if you make their drops more random, like every enemy could drop money or consumables once you've unlocked them (i.e. bombs after you've gotten the bomb bag) - After I opened a couple doorways with power, it stopped collecting it all-together for my character. Power would spawn after killing an enemy, my character would collect it, but my bar would stay at 0. This made it so I couldn't get into multiple caves in the forest. - I was fighting the mummy looking boss in the forest dungeon when it killed me, then the boss bar was stuck on my screen. When I went into the worm boss after this, it took over that life bar, being over half dead when I started fighting it. - I then beat the worm boss in the caves, and the chest spawned, but I couldn't interact with it at all. This is when I gave up. I don't know what caused all this to happen. I explore games to an extreme extent in comparison to other people so I could've accidently glitched the game in some way. I did walk through the entryway into a cave without going into the cave and got stuck trying to go back to the entrance. I also got stuck inside the worm bosses head and couldn't move until it killed me once as well. With both those instances, I reloaded the save. These weren't such a big deal, but I figured I'd mention them. Maybe I did stuff out of order and it messed up the game's thought process? I'll keep an eye out to see if this situation gets worked on, and edit my review accordingly
