Amazing atmosphere. Also, the game does not hide its inspiration and is genuinely scary. The combat is janky dodgeslop that ends up being both annoying and underwhelming. Pushing zombies away is a cool feature, but it does not always work and becomes useless once the game throws multiple enemies at you. There are difficulty options that let you make the combat less painful. UPD: Nah, the final boss made this game hard to recommend.

This was scarier and grittier than I expected going in. It's quite linear with a little freedom to explore on your own. Mechanics works well. Nice mood, and tense atmosphere almost all the way through its short runtime of 3 hours. I recommend this game but due to the short story I'd say $20 is a bit much, so get it on sale and you'll get your moneys worth.

おすすめとはするが、注意が必要 ■アイテムの入手がランダムなので入手バランス次第では詰む可能性がある Quest版も購入して同時進行していたが、こちらのPC版では途中でライトの電池が尽きてしまった。暗闇の中を進まなければならず、電池がまったく手に入らずジリ貧だったのでPC版はアンインストールした。ちなみにQuest版の方は最後までに6個ほど電池が余ったが、逆にハンドガンの弾が途中で尽きた。PC版もQuest版もそれほどグラフィックに差は感じなかったので、好きな方を購入するとよいです。個人的にはサクッと起動できるQuest版の方が好き。 ■掴む動作が不安定 腰からスプレーを取ろうとしてよくショットガンを取ってしまう。またはスプレー自体が取れないことが多く発生する。 ■武器の不具合 ハンドガンが狙った位置に着弾しない。連続で撃つとわかるが、まっすぐ前方に向けていても天井にヒットし続ける。敵が密着していると武器の銃口が敵の方を向かない。左持ち設定なのにショットガンは右持ちを強制される。 ■暗すぎる 一人称のホラーゲームによくあるが、電池の消耗が激しいために電池集めゲーになっている。

The perfect homage to resident evil , great VR game , the scares are very good , the mood is great , awesome mechanics , i wish it was longer , or that we get a sequel.

As a Fan of Resident Evil i was had some Fun with this, i didnt know what to Expect, and for VR Game pretty Solid.

Holy smokes this is a terrifying game! This is coming from a guy who watch Exorcist at age 8 and loved it and plays RE7VR to relax. This is hands down one of the scariest things I've ever played. It has it's flaws, of course, what doesn't: it's short for one thing only about 4hrs or so of gameplay and that's checking every nook and cranny for ammo and secrets. The controls can get mixed up in the heat of battle, where you reaching for ammo from your fanny pack and you grab the healing spray instead. Would've been better separating those a bit like in Half-Life Alyx having one over your shoulder and the rest around the belt. The animations are somewhat cartoony like in Saint's and Sinners but it works, you don't feel any less afraid when your being swarmed by 7 foot zombies and giant undead monsters. TRUST ME GET THIS GAME YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Great horror game, basically resident evil zero in vr. Scariest VR game I've ever played, had to man up to play it.

damn, this is a solid horror vr experience! my only regret is not buying because of bad reviews back in 2023
