Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Project x na sterydach. Rewelka. Każdy kto ogrywał w latach 90 będzie się świetnie bawił.
Fun and challenging game and responsive, friendly devs.
If you played the Original, way back in the day and enjoyed it, this is your chance to finally get past the second level... Amiga disk-access noises add wonderfully to the nostalgia :) The game is HARD and very unforgiving, just as the original was. The "Reloaded" career mode lets you play as a roguelite, with aspects of your progress saved between runs. Just so happens to be currenlty my favourite genre of game It can feel a little slow but in this new era of bullet-hells and twitch-based reactions, frankly I rather like it! If you know NOTHING of the original, this is side-scrolling on-rails space shooter with multiple options for ship upgrades. Upgrades last for that run in most of the game modes though Continues and Extra Life lets you pick up 'dropped' upgrades. Thankfully, it doesn't QUITE fit as a bullet-hell game but there is at any time a lot going on and memorising wave patterns is definitely the way to win. The game engine used does not natively support cloud-saves, but the developer has implimented a pseudo-cloud for it - your save is automatically uploaded to a server and if like me you play on multiple devices, you need to remember to 'pull down' the save when you change devices. DEFINTELY benefits from a controller on the PC, and plays very well on Steam deck

A great, modern successor to the original Amiga shoot-em up.
Brutal game! Before I played the demo, I played another game with the same upgrade mechanic which was decent and then I played this game and it blew me away. I like the upgrade system, the graphics, the weaponry and the overall vibe of the game which sends of a sense of urgency through the intro and the cut scenes. What I don´t like or don´t get is that my speed always downgrades in the first level. I grade it up to 5 a couple of minutes later it´s only 4 then 3 and so on. I don´t know if that´s suppose to be but I guess not. Then I had the problem that some times burst doesn´t work even if it´s leveled up. Although that seems to be fixed lately. Since today there is the problem that the 1st level boss fight is coursed. I can only shoot it with the flying explosives, my projectiles doesn´t hit and life bar deminishes very slow, make it impossible to finish the level under 7:30. Normally the first boss lasts barely a minute. Other than that it´s a beautifully crafted game. A part 2 is desperately requested. But first please fix the minor bugs and polish the game. It deserves it! --- Edit December 13th 2025, 7 pm: Thank you for your quick response: No I did not know Project X from 1992. Actually, I found out about it days after I bought Project X Light Years, when I watched a video on youtube. I didn´t have an Amiga back then. Only a C64, a Game Boy and a Sega Mega Drive. And I only got really obsessed with shmups in late 2021. I usually would go on youtube and look for new shmups and search every single one on steam which isn´t on my wish list. Did you program the original game as well? The Boss behaves normal again. Last night I really had an issue, that even after the shield was gone my bullets didn´t hit him. They were flying arround and besides him without hit detection. I should have captured it and the life bar seemed to be frozen, not steadily declining. Maybe it was my PC´s fault. But now it´s normal again. The Speed thing now I get thanks for the explanation. It´s a clever design. Yes I enjoy your game. It has a lot to offer in terms of replay value, a lot of game modes. And a great soundtrack. Thank you for going over each of my critique points. ;)
Good modern version of classic Amiga shoot'em up
Amazing sequel to the original Amiga game from Team17! Great & fresh ideas added to the classic formula, amazing art that is coherent with the original stuff, both Brimbles had their input in the audio department. Such a great shooter, feels & plays really good. While I found it a tiny wee buggy, the game is getting constant updates and the developer is super active in the community forums, too. 11/10 already recommended.
cant say enough really .. firstly a pumping soundtrack throughout. It immediately took me back to the day i loaded it up on my amiga when I was 15 yrs old lmao I'm now 50 and was almost in tears as it was the most anticipated game of my teens. It was super hard then and even more so now... If you loved it then you will love this.... Plenty of modes to play and achievements to collect. 10/10
Fenomenalny powrót klasyka. W wersji na Amigę spędziłem dziesiątki godzin, tu będzie podobnie. Najważniejsze cechy gry to niesamowita miodność i replaybility. Poziom trudności wymagający, ale przy odrobinie ćwiczeń nabiera się wprawy. Zdecydowanie polecam. P.S. grać zdecydowanie przy pomocy pada.
Grande gioco avevo giocato e gioco la versione Amiga !!!!! Ho l'originale in box di cartone
