Fun Lil Boom-shoot with a retro aesthetic.
It's good If I was in a room with warlock and my dead cat and I had a gun with 3 bullets I'll shoot my dead cat 3 times.
this game is well made so i can't knock it on that but the thing that makes doom so compelling still despite being a 2.5d shooter is the frantic pace. this swaps that out for a more plodding speed, and the levels are really small usually. kind of just feels like you're going through the motions instead of fighting for your life. pick it up on sale and maybe it will click for you but dont go in here expecting what made doom great

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

👿Project Warlock👿
I like casting spells and shooting guns.
Project Warlock is one of those games that understands exactly what it's trying to be. Guns hit hard, enemies explode in pixel gore, and the game keeps you moving nonstop. It’s all about rushing in.. as you would expect from a shooter with this style. There’s also a simple RPG system where you level up stats and upgrade weapons, which keeps things fresh without overcomplicating anything, this was surprisingly fun to have. I mostly upgraded the weapons but there is 2 very fun powers that I used which were the storm bringer or something like that and another one that lets your rocket your grenades which can be pretty devastating for your enemies. As per ambiance and visual, retro pixel look its soo good and the art is awesome, enemies vary enough to make it interesting, and the soundtrack goes hard in all the right ways. Now about the secrets, these were simple to find, secrets are personally something I don't really like about shooters, but this one I got plenty of them it was just so simple and worth the hassle enough to chase them, although there is too many which can become a bit of a tedious distraction from what matters.. which is shooting demons. Story? Barely.. but it is not probably what you are here for. You are a dude killing demons traversing different realms.. I'll give it a 8/10 TLDR 8/10 A brutally fun shooter with punchy guns and splashy enemies, satisfying progression, and good retro charm to keep you entertained rom start to finish.
Polecam.
Pretty darn cool, a bit easy though, my first playthrough devolved into a strategy of holding W and pressing M1 to more or less one shot all enemies with my sword and face tanking all damage. The true difficulty lies in Single Live Mode, which forces you to be more careful with upgrades and combat. Encountered a few bugs, mainly falling through the map. They weren't detrimental to the experience, but happened too frequently not to mention. Overall a worthy Boomer Shooter.
heart attack the game
Kinda fun if you wanna turn your brain off, but too many noticeable bugs (e.g. audio that keeps replaying, holes in the map requiring you to reset, map softlocks if you accidentally move out of an elevator).
