About
Dive into Project Vesperi to experience this movie-length sci-fi branching narrative. Play again and again to discover over ten different endings with variations based on the decisions you make throughout the story.
You play as Doctor Evelyn Roth, a UNE astrobiologist dedicated to searching for potential signs of life across our solar system. When an anomaly is found on Venus, you will decide how far she’ll go to secure it when an intruder emerges.
Your decisions as Evelyn will shape how characters in the station view you and act. Every choice, no matter how small, affects your ending and the characters you meet. Exploring the world will further impact your narrative gameplay experience, as you’ll find new pathways and choices to unlock during conversations. Depending on how you approach conflict, each character’s fate will be in your hands. Your choices matter, as every character can live or die.
The year is 2083. Earth’s natural resources have dwindled. The Unified Nations of Earth have launched missions across the solar system to search for signs of life on planets and moons. On Venus, abandoned terraforming experiments created a safe pocket of reduced pressure and heat. In this traversable zone, the UNE founded Geyser Canyon Station. This mission is known as Project Vesperi. On one of the least hospitable planets in our solar system, you must decide how humanity will react to what may be the greatest discovery ever made.

Featuring lifelike performances, rich world-building, and tense action sequences, Project Vesperi was developed within our student scope against all odds as a short impactful narrative game built from the ground up to be replayable. This game was made possible by a team full of college students and supportive collaborators who believed in our passion, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally be launching Project Vesperi on Steam.
Enter this turbulent near future and determine the fate of those on Venus and humanity in Project Vesperi. Thank you, and we hope you enjoy!

Loved the story and the world building! Wished it was a little bit longer but overall a very pleasant experience!! Can't wait to try to get all the other different endings.
Almost no content. Every camera angle, every voice line is reused at least three times. Nonsensical, incoherent story. Ugly character models (please don't remove your helmets, people!) Looks and feels like a cheap Amazon Prime sci-fi movie, in which four friends of the director's spout boring nonsense and nothing of substance happens for 80 minutes.
After playing your demo, I was really looking forward to the full game. Project Vesperi made me want more. Unfortunately, I have to say very clearly that the “more” you get here is only a little bit more than the demo. In the end, I felt somewhat ripped off. After about one and a half hours in total, the game was finished — and a good half hour of that had basically already been the demo. For me, that ratio simply did not work at all. There are also several areas where the game still needs improvement. The videos cannot be skipped, and conversations cannot be clicked through. That becomes especially frustrating when you replay a section for the second or third time, already know what you need to do, but still have to watch the entire scene again. The constant fade-outs and fade-ins ini the videos add to that feeling and make the experience feel slower than necessary. Instead of keeping me engaged, it made continuing the game feel increasingly boring. The character faces also need more work. In particular, the face of the womans main character looked very rough to me and, at times, almost unintentionally unsettling. Overall, I felt the game was too short, too thin, and stretched out too much for what it actually delivered. I could have requested a refund because my playtime was under two hours, but I chose not to. Still, I have to say that it felt like money wasted. That being said, I do want to end on a positive note: the core idea is genuinely great. The concept made me curious, and the demo created real interest. Project Vesperi has a strong foundation and could be something really enjoyable — but in its current state, the full game simply does not deliver enough compared to what the demo suggested, it is still a demo to me and now should be the point to go into a long story...
it has many bugs. talking options are propsed, but there are none. crashes at boot black loading screens taking minutes breaks in third entry to geode room - jumps to a scene, where there is no-one. very bethesda feeling. refunded.
The game was ok, really short (novella-sized), I knew that prior to heading in via other reviews. Do not recommend getting at full price, wait till it's on a sale. I understand it's the dev's first game and they're likely after the support, however, it doesn't strike that oompth in my opinion and the price could be a tad cheaper. Concept was cool albeit being predictable, also would have loved to explore Venus more. There's potential, although a lot of improvements could be made. Animations for example, some of them drag out unnecessarily, whereas other moments are fine when emphasising understanding or creating tension. The technical side may benefit from a second look as it crashed when I first tried, however once I updated my graphics card and general computer, it worked, additionally there were instances of jankiness during the cutscenes. Fortunately it settled as I progressed and tweaked a few settings. Good luck to the devs if they decide to expand on it as well any future projects.
