Few actors were OK, but overall, the acting and story were not good at all. I would not recommend this, even if you could finish it within an hour to explore one of the endings, I would not say it’s worth it. The worst part is that if you want to explore the other endings on a second playthrough - you cannot skip any scenes, you need to re-watch the bad acting and bad story telling again.
Genre
Ein Full Motion Video Action Thriller
Story
+ Gute Story + Spannend + Gute Schauspieler + Gute Action bzw.
10/10 — My Dragon Princess Is Now My Lawyer
I booted this game expecting a cute interactive movie with a few choices. What I got: Mia, a barmaid with zero chill, suddenly taking in a mute soul on the run, fighting thugs, and somehow negotiating treaties with dragons.
Pros:
*The moment I told a dragon “Excuse me, kind sir, may I pass?” and it actually paused to think… that’s the peak of video game diplomacy. *Real-time attribute tracking means at one point Mia’s “bravery” was low and “regret” was high. I now have an existential crisis *5 different endings — I’ve seen 10 so far, and all of them end with me dramatically gasping. (5 endings normal and good, another 5 is death ending scene)
Cons:
*Every time a thug popped up, I half-expected them to challenge me to karaoke instead of a fight. *I tried every dialogue option with the mysterious woman, and she still didn’t respond in English. I guess I’ll never know if the correct answer was “I bring tacos.”
Bottom Line:
If you ever want to star in a live-action soap opera where your barmaid days get way more complicated (and dragons are part of the staff), this is your game. Also, I demand a DLC where Mia and her dragon go on vacation. Would Recommend--but only if your dragon is okay with public transit
Mia and the Dragon Princess, aksiyon ve interaktif film tarzını birleştirmeye çalışan eğlenceli bir yapım.
Mia is a kind girl, even a bit too much. i'm even a bit annoyed by her kindness, but the developer didn't prepare any other options for me :( At least I saw a lot of fight scenes and still found the treasure, so I'm satisfied today. game or movie? something in between haha I liked the intro VERY much, it's unusual and fresh! this way you understand the context of what happened. the idea itself is good. the acting is sometimes lame! maybe I'm too picky, but the “mystery woman” was not quite perfect in those moments where she supposedly did NOT understand the interlocutor (due to the language barrier), but the fight scenes did NOT look like an indie movie. therefore 8.5\10
I was really looking forward to this game and decided to play it with my partner. And we both agree it's pretty bad. The choices don't feel like they matter and characters are just thrown in willy nilly. Hell, there was one bad guy who just turned coat for reasons? Like no reason, he just kind of does. Also, there's a lot of Asian stereotyping, which is really disappointing for a game made in 2023. Also, Mashandra doesn't make sense as a character, they make her more like a caver person than a pirate. A pirate would know what a bag is, and would assume the chips given to the character would be an item in a bad, meanwhile Mashandra goes oonga boonga and tries to eat the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bag, the ♥♥♥♥ is that about!? And the fact she ate candy from a nasty ass puddle in the beginning. They had ♥♥♥♥ covered streets in the past. She'd know not to snatch candy like a child. And in fact, it felt like they left out a bunch of scenes. Like in the beginning we start with her running and we are to assume it's the pirate, but why. Why not do a cool scene of finding her? There's just context left out for no damn reason -- and with plenty of scenes like that later in the game too. ♥♥♥♥ just happens and we just need to roll with it! Also, why didn't they translate her Indonesian (It just says Indonesian language in the subtitles), it's just another wall of separation from the main character and the audience. Like why the ♥♥♥♥ should I care about Mashandra and her goal, except #GirlPower or some ♥♥♥♥? It feels like a waste of a concept and great actors.
Terrible, the annoying homeless type woman or whoever she is was terrible hated her character, its confusing as hell makes little sense, is pretty boring just no, the choices are very uninteresting too, just didn't care for it and without the skip button i wouldn't of been able to do more than one play through so thank god that exists.
Mia and the Dragon Princess
This is my favourite FMV from Wales interactive, it’s funny, it has action and it’s definitely one of the best stories they made! I would love to see a sequel with more adventure.
Really good game, compelling story and interesting characters.
