Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

You are a participant in Project Threshold, an experiment designed to force people to confront their deepest fears. Pass through sets of blue and red doors, survive what waits beyond them, and reach the end, if escape is even possible.
Project Threshold is a psychological horror and memory-based walking simulator where players must confront the fears and horrors waiting beyond each threshold.

Project Threshold does NOT feature checkpoints and is intentionally designed around memory-based progression. If you are caught or die, you will restart from the beginning.
The game consists of 10 sets of doors, where remembering previous encounters, recognizing patterns, and learning from each attempt are core parts of the experience. Every run is meant to build your knowledge, making each subsequent attempt easier.

Okay as a concept and the graphics look good, but its not scary or fun. Just boring.

Despite my recommendation, It's actually still aight for a one time playthrough and the game is cheap, although very short which is to be expected. That being said, Gameplay wise, its not very good, as its just a walking simulator, with a 70/30 chance of instant death, or possible survival. reason it being 30% of survival is because even if you choose the right door, you can still die if played incorrectly. Some doors are freebies, some CAN kill you, and some WILL kill you. I'm not too fond of chance games especially if its really random like this. But there is one thing this game was designed for, and its phobias. The phobias are what make the game scary, The only one i had was at the beginning, and unfortunately it was for progression too, So you can imagine my reaction every time I had to redo it. I feel like this game could've done so much more than just a small corridor you take with each door. You could so easily take advantage of each phobia more, and design rooms around them, instead of just doing the bare minimum, especially because even if I do not have certain phobias, if done right, I can still be scared of them. The game has small lore, and feel like it somehow connects to the backroom's (for some reason), idk. I'd not recommend for the average person, I only got it because a friend wanted to see me play it. Get it if you want a phobia trip game thats cheap and affordable for you, but otherwise, don't spend your money if your expecting more.
A Great Horror Experience That Helped Me Face My Fears
I really enjoyed playing Project Threshold! It's a great horror experience and, honestly, a fun way to overcome some of my phobias. 😂 The atmosphere, creepy environments, and different scenarios kept me engaged and genuinely made me nervous in the best way. Overall, I 101% loved this game! It's a unique and memorable horror experience. Great job to the developers! ❤️
Super fun game! Some of the phobias were more scary than others (or maybe I just didn't have those haha) and maybe it could've been even more scary at times! But over all I really loved the experience of going through this game. :D
Just hve to remember 30 50/50 choices - extremely boring game
I had fun playing this game, it does what it was intended to do very nicely. i would love to see a future version where there are more phobias and where the phobias are randomly generated rather than in one specific order, it would also be much more fun if it was longer.
