game good
I really like this game! The sound design goes hard, the character models are cool, the gun-play feels smooth, there's voice acting, and the environmental storytelling is awesome. Reminds me of my Tarkov days but without raising my blood-pressure too much XD Defiantly has some good jump-scares too.

Overall incredibly good, works on steam deck with some tweaks and lower settings. One thing to note is I think the game is a bit too rough to recommend the perma-death mode, lost my first attempt to it to fall damage after being flung into the air by a janky physics prop collision, between that and AI spotting alternating between braindead and cyborg instant lock-on at times going for less punishing death mechanics may be the better idea til that gets smoothed out as someone who likes the challenge of those modes.
Superb Stalker-like that scratches the powerfantasy itch to become unkillable with powerful armor + artifacts and wipe out entire factions. The game is in Beta version 0.3.13 at time of review, and it's been cool to see it evolve since I bought it shortly after early access release last year. There is no true game ending implemented as of yet, but that doesn't hold it back from being very replayable with the options of preset or custom characters, as well as random start permadeath runs. I enjoy looting and exploring very thoroughly, so I'm on my third 80+ hour playthrough and still have several items to check off of my bucket list.
Really good little voxel looking Anomaly ripoff with a strange Furry/Trans fetish. It even has some references to Roadside Picnic. For example the spiderweb anomaly. My only complaint so far is how difficult it can be to tell factions apart. You either need to be 6 ft away and staring at them through the TAA blur for a few seconds or you have to consult your binoculars even yards away. Its one of those or if they mag dump you with near perfect accuracy, whichever comes first. If you want to stealth around at night, you damn near have to walk up and ask them for their ID. The simplest fix would be to have the uniforms look more different. Everyone literally looks the same.
The game is the best stalker-like I've played. It keeps enough elements of survival/immersion without saddling the player with all of the tedious management tasks that detract from most survival shooters. Even in this super early access state, the level of content and the commitment to building gameplay systems is beyond what most AAA games ever reach.
