I was expecting a simple puzzle walking simulator coming into this game dusted with some spooky elements into but the jump scares happen when you least expect them and after that I've been looking over my shoulder. It was an intense game. The puzzles were ok, somewhere during my playthrough I got lost where exactly to go next. It was definitely a good analogue horror game that kept me occupied until the end of the game. Some improvements I would like to see:

Change the shift key to change screen or window (sometimes it can bring up sticky keys )
Wide Screen or 1080p Resolution
did not finish the game but you could see the hard work the dev put in form the get-go, the story from what i saw is interesting and well written 10/10 if you want a quick game that is very well made pick up this game

I will be fair and say that I was offered a chance to play this game. I'm a content creator (if you want to call me that 😉), I figured it would be a very interesting thing to play. Interesting doesn't nearly cover it enough! The amount of detail and design for this game is far greater than you would expect for an indie game. The voiceover work and storytelling is so thought-provoking that lasted with me for quite some time. I'm not going to spoil but I'll just give a brief intro that you're playing as a young woman who went through some terrible traumatic events and a signed up to be part of this project that essentially allows your spirit or spectral form to roam about. Do you know how people have out of body experiences or are you aware of astral projection? Imagine that but a laboratory was able to design a device that lets others view and see what normally couldn't be seen. You may think just like in a typical sci-fi movie when humans play with the natural order of things that that's where the nightmare start but THAT'S were things are far different than you expect. Again without spoiling, but essentially you play as this special entity that roams about going through place to place trying to solve the mystery of why your character did this, the terrible tragedy that befell her, the emotional toil this experiment led to the doctors and researchers, and quite a lot more. I will say that while it may seem like a horror game I will say that it is more of a psychological thriller than anything else. You go around trying to find different clues to get the answers to the questions you have. The more important clues, memories, are the most crucial in figuring out the answers to the questions this game provides as well as getting to the ending. I personally haven't yet done it because there are a number of issues that I'm trying to figure out in order to get these memories but getting them helps provide some light on the subjects. The voice acting, I'm not sure who does it, is stellar; there's not that many voices and you can tell that it was really made by a massive group of people but you can feel the emotion and strain and stress and their words. (I'm personally into voice acting so I'm a little biased toward this kind of thing.) However there are some issues that is concerning that I feel I have to say, for fairness sake of course. There are a couple of snags that I ran into where I ended up clipping through the world, or falling for an extremely long period of time beyond the world, but considering it's the first game and it's indie developed I'm certain that that can be given a pass. I will also admit that there were a couple of puzzles that I could not figure out just yet when it came to getting access to other areas, even after I was able to backtrack. I feel it could have been easier to navigate for the very least easier to find the specific things necessary to progress but I digress. They're also some moments where the audio was a bit loud in some areas over others but I also don't know if it was planned that way. I will also warn that this isn't one of those games that people could look into in some sort of happy or jovial sense; it is a very gritty and dark game that has some bittersweet moments and while I may not know if it ends well for what I've seen so far, is definitely not for those sensitive to this kind of thing so there's some serious warning as it does talk about incidents and loss of life. I think this is a phenomenal indie game that definitely deserves a recognition and while there may be other bigger games out there that may be built by big corporations with tons of money, I find that it's nice to know that there are still smaller games done by smaller people that can still stand out on its own and be unique in a sense.
GAME OF THE YEAR
Very interesting and thought-provoking horror game that felt eerie throughout. I wish there had been more dreamscape/liminal space areas (as those were my favorite) however the game does an amazing job of surrounding you within the atmosphere without feeling needlessly scary. I would definitely recommend for a short, indie, liminal horror game.
very cool and unique atmospheric game!!! some of the effects hurt my eyes and i was confused by how the story all fit together but i think its a skill issue on my part. voice acting is great and the concepts explored are really neat, and it barely has any jumpscares. it made me anxious and uneasy very often but it never felt cheap! would reccommend
The best indie narrative-driven surrealist walking sim, with a heap of existential horror, since The Music Machine. What The Music Machine didn't have, however, was a cat. Wonderful narrative, memorable art style, and impeccable atmosphere. The game had me, at points, sweating from dread. Don't pass it up.
This game is well done, original and beautiful. Don't let the low poly graphics fool you, the game is very user friendly. I really enjoyed playing this. Thanks Morph!
Carries the Soul of Good Indie Horror Perfectly priced at $5, this game has the heart and soul of the modern indie horror scene all wrapped up in a heady and stylish package. It has it's flaws, certainly, and it isn't going to rival anything AAA, but what it does have is a dark, twisted story with an intriguing, unique world and creative storytelling. No reading through wordy notes and sitting through pointless jumpscares. The fear factor here is all psychological and masterfully unsettling. Strongly recommend giving it a try if you're a fan of indie horror or want something fresh from the psychological genre!
Really cool and genuinely unsettling liminal horror, and does it in a more mature way than most. Wish there were more puzzles.
