really great factory game, highly recomended
28 hours in, and loving it. You can actually see the parts on the screen moving about. Not all other car manufacture games do that. Cool that the game developer has youtube videos explaining things about the game. Bought the game in 2026 even though it was released in 2019, so I get to see all the requests users asked for and when I'm playing the game I see so much of it implemented. Factorio is not the first thing that comes to mind when I play this game, though I have that game. Efficiency is a big part of the game. The opposing AI players aren't 'visible' to you, but you do get to see what techs they are researching. The way the game plays out, you are supposed to work on efficiency and cost effectiveness before car features, if you want to get ahead of the AI and be profitable. There are loans if you run out of money - it seems you can have up to 4 at a time. I think earlier there was no loan option at all, which was one of the areas the developer showed he was listening to the community. So many nice info graphs and charts, but not overwhelmingly too many. Very meaningful. You can import parts or make them yourself - the game charts make it easy to see that. So much time and thoughtfulness seem to be part of the game design. Sometimes I like fast action like FPS games as Deeprock Galactic, or Helldivers 2, but a game like this has enough interaction so that I can listen to Bible lectures while I play. At nearly 30 hours, I have done lots of game restarts, moreso because of my preferences, and sometimes bankruptcy in the game. There is a map editor mode. Some games feel 'punishing' for making mistakes. I think this one has a good balance of risk and reward. There is a research tree with 3 sections. Features, efficiency, and car models. There is also marketing to get more customers to want to buy your vechicles. Vehicle color doesn't change sales, but it adds a nice touch. Steam workshop works with this game for mods, which is a definite plus. I saw this game on Steam for a few years before deciding to give it a 'go'. Glad I did.
Absolutely love this game - totally addicting. Upgrading/refactoring your existing line can be a pain in the ass because you have to repurchase all of the robotic arms for each module. It's nice that there's a "purchase for all modules" button, but it would be nice if there was a way to purchase the module with the upgraded robotic arms already included. It seems like it takes forever for you to sell the first 10 cars before you can start researching the main upgrades to your assembly line. Might be better to have it based on cars built instead of sold? Might be a game mechanic balancing reason. R&D modules can be annoying because they can bleed your finances dry if you're not careful. Would be nice if I could adjust the money allocated to R&D instead of having to delete the modules to avoid going bankrupt. The game as a whole is really fun though - I love watching all of the cars traveling along the conveyor belts and the interactions that occur in each module.
Empfohlen, ABER!
Steam says I've played for 30+ hours, so I guess I like it. :P tldr: Very good production efficiency puzzle game with a car manufacturing theme. All of this is from the perspective that I only paid $5 for the game (which is the perfect sweet spot for this no longer supported, aging title). I'm not sure exactly to what some reviewers are referring when mentioning some major flaws. Certainly, it has minor flaws / quirks / annoyances, but overall it's a good, solid, non-buggy game. Could some things be better? For sure, but it's not game breaking. I will concede that it can be a bit cumbersome to find the information you need to figure out how to get the ability to do some things in the game. Again, it's not game-breaking - just takes a bit of patience to push through. Once you've figured it out, you're set for all other play-throughs. This game has a few elements that make it fun and engaging:

Have to start simple and "fight" for upgrades (earn research points, save money, make profit)
Upgrades lead to better upgrades lead to better upgrades
Production becomes more complicated but more rewarding the further down into the rabbit hole of research you go
I want to do 'E' but first I have to do 'D' which first requires 'C' which first requires 'B' . . . .
Always trying to eek out that extra bit of efficiency. Fixed one bottle-neck; now I have another!
Trying to set production just right so you don't over-produce in any one category of cars (which causes sales slumps)
It really is a puzzle game wrapped in a car manufacturing theme which I find fun and engaging. I've even made a couple personal mods (though, modding this game is a bit of hit or miss - can be super frustrating) that add to the game. Overall, this is a thumbs up for me.
it's a good game
Even though I havent played much, this game is such a cool car manufacturing game. I first saw this game on GrayStillPlays's channel and I thought, "damn this game looks fun" and after trying it myself I can say it really is fun.
Best Car Manufacturing Simulator! Sad there is no Part 2 of the game!
Muito bom
