I understand that the controls are intentionally difficult as a gameplay mechanic. That doesn't mean that is fun. I would not suggest anyone play this game.

Идея игры правда неплохая. Задумка выглядит прикольной... Но управление всё портит. За всё время игры, так и не смог вставить стрелу в лук.(

Probably Archery attempts to be like games such as QWOP or Surgeon Simulator - an easy to understand but hard to control game that you get the hang of. The problem is that, unlike those games, the controls don't become intuitive after a little bit. It just stays frustrating and not fun.

This is basically Surgeon Simulator/Ampu-Tea but instead of surgery or making a cup of tea, you need to micromanage the actions of firing a bow. You need to individually move your each hand, elbow and shoulder to get the bow and arrow all into the right places so you can shoot at things. On the upsides the graphics aren't completely awful, just bad and kind of simplistic. There's no sense in criticising the controls here, they made them bad on purpose. But we can criticise the decision to make them bad on purpose. This is one of those many, many games where the concept was completely terrible, and when a professional, successful developer has a terrible game concept, they abandon it. South East Games did not, however, so here we are.
