Saw it going for cheap now I know why. No settings so if the game runs poorly or if you want to change it to its 29 other languages you're out of luck. No welcome menu, no tutorial besides E to open doors which doesn't work sometimes. Enemies shoot through walls and are already spawned in rooms ahead of you so as soon as you finally press E to open that door they've been shooting you through they are happy to greet you. Got all the Achievements in the first 5 minutes so theres that. To thrive I believe the previous problems should be fixed while also adding more identity to the game itself to be unique from the other classic shooter games out there.

They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Hellish Battle 2.5D Retro FPS" is just a Unity asset pack and game demo to teach people how to make a DooM like retro FPS game, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.[/quote] Old Retro Shooter has the completely insane price of $200 USD, which is incredibly suspicious, higher than AAA pricing for an asset flip shovelware scam game. Why would the "developer" put such a high price tag on an asset flip with no true value as a game? There's no direct proof for this, but it's entirely possible this game is priced this way for money laundering or other criminal purposes. Higher prices allow more money to move with fewer transactions. Valve have previously banned developers for running money laundering scams. While there's no direct evidence in this case, it's highly suspicious and gamers should be wary. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

This "game" is pure hot garbage. give this one a miss

Всем доброй ночи дамы и господа. С вами Берникс и эт будет супер короткий обзор на игру, которая называеться "Старый Ретро шутер". Итак, я эту стрелялку заприметил ещё в прошлом году и всё пыталься как то её приобрести, но прикол в том, что сама игра стоит каких то астрономических денег как 11 Мк или Дум этернал. Но из названия действителньо игра вдохновлялась Думом, но не Херетиком, а скорее первым Квейком. Потому что там там ест одна лока, которая прямо 1 в 1 корридор из Q1. Эт конечно не тот отсылочный уровень, который был в Project Warlock, но автору респект за то что оставил такую отсылку . Из оружек у нашего ГГ есть пистолет, узишка, ракетница, гранатомёт и какая то пушка с бесконечными патронами. Предположу что это пистолет, потому что ни патронов, ни всего остального по каким то причинам нет. То есть у вас закончатсья патроны и всё, дальше тока из этого пестика и стреляйте. Ну и ещё по классике, в комнатах разбросаны ключ карты и ваша задача их найти и активировать двери. А я не говорил вам, что уровень в данной игре всего 1 и вы очень быстро получите 6 достижений за долю секунды? По сути все 13 минут- это я был в 1 уровне и ухитрилься его, грубо говоря проспидранить. От этого наверное у игроков смешанные обзоры, типо какого художника игра, стоимостью как богатая вещь из Вайлдберисса такая короткая.? Игра к слову на Юнити и графика кстати, напомнила мне Shrine от авторства Scumhead . Ну и музыка очень однообразна. Ставлю данной игре 10 из 10, потому что я не жалею что игру эту купил по скидке, + к ней прилагалась какая то игра про велосепидистов и я заинтригован).
