About
What makes Pro Football Online so good?
1) Input Driven Gameplay
Gameplay in Pro Football Online is completely input driven, not animation driven like many other sports games. Your decisions and skills on the field are the only thing that matter in this game.
2) No pay to win mechanics
Pro Football Online aims to be the most competitive and satisfying sports gaming experience there is. Having pay to win would completely ruin that. There are no pay to win mechanics in Pro Football Online.
3) Dedicated servers
Pro Football Online has dedicated servers in NA (Ohio), EU (Milan) and potential to add more locations in the future.
4) Player customization
Customize your player in different ways like choosing your skin & eye color, hair and facial hair style and colors, different helmets and shoulder pad styles, shoes and accessories as well as different emotes.
5) Team customization
You can create multiple team presets that allow you to customize things like the team name, abbreviation, logo, uniforms with custom colors and different patterns/designs.

Reviews
I typically do not review games on steam, but I felt compelled for this game. I played this game for weeks prior to release and have plenty experience with similar games. While the game itself shows real potential and was genuinely fun at its peak, I cannot recommend it due to the behavior and stated intentions of the developer. The developer consistently berates and disrespects his own community. Players who disagree with his ideas or offer criticism are frequently insulted or talked down to. When players respond with the same energy they are often banned. This behavior is routinely excused with statements like “this is my game I can do what I want,” which may be true but signals a complete disregard for the people supporting the game. Even more alarming is the developer’s repeated discussion of rushing the game to release and then abandoning it. He has openly stated that continued support depends on how much money the game makes while also claiming it will not make enough money to justify continued development. As a player this makes it very hard to trust that the game will be supported in any meaningful way after release. There is also a clear pattern where community suggested changes are resisted for weeks or months. During this time the developer often belittles or dismisses those advocating for improvements. Eventually many of these changes are implemented anyway at which point the developer claims to love the change. This cycle discourages feedback and creates a hostile development environment. Some public statements from the developer highlight deeper issues. One notable quote was “line not supposed to be fun,” referring to a position that already struggles with player participation due to lack of enjoyment. Designing frustration intentionally and dismissing player experience is not a healthy mindset. Another statement claiming he could design a better game than Skyrim speaks to a level of ego that does not match the current execution. The game itself had moments where it truly worked and showed promise. Unfortunately the developer appears determined to undermine its success through hostility poor communication and an apparent willingness to abandon the project entirely. If you choose to buy this game understand the risk. You are not just buying an unfinished product. You are investing your time into a project whose creator has openly expressed contempt for his community and uncertainty about supporting the game at all.
Dev abandoned game mid testing because he couldn't stop banning testers for giving feedback he didn't like. A month into development he posted:

"I've decided I'm sick and tired of this community that's full of toxic weirdos. I'm not putting effort in past this point. I'm gonna get the game ready for release ASAP and dip unless it makes a lot of money, Congrats, you don't deserve my effort."
Every day of testing was a battle with multiple testers banned. Dev would ask how games were, people would respond with things like "line feels boring, movement is too slow" and the dev would immediately start flaming them, calling them slurs and personal insults. This would escalate into multiple bans, and then the cycle would repeat as someone new would jump in to offer feedback. Then, the next day, dev would post that he had an idea, and it would be the exact idea that was suggested the day before. The level of egomania and narcissism present is off the charts. Then, on the last few days of testing, the dev announced he was revoking everyone's key, despite making the claim from the beginning that all testers would keep their copy of the game as a thank you for helping test. There are more people actively watching these reviews waiting to laugh at any negative post than there are people with copies of the game. The saddest part of all, is I fully believe this game could have been something, but despite every single person that interacted with the dev telling him he needs to put a PR person between himself and the community, the Dev continues to be the one standing in the way of his own success.
I tested this game for free, and somehow still feel ripped off. First off: the developer is openly hostile toward players. During testing, he constantly berated people who were literally helping him for free, insulted players for disagreeing with his decisions, and even resorted to slurs. Giving feedback felt less like playtesting and more like being yelled at in a Discord server. Completely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing. Now the game itself: this is Pro Soccer Online with a football skin slapped on it. Same mechanics, same feel, same everything except now it’s pretending to be football. It does not play like a football game in any meaningful way. No real adaptation, no depth, no effort to make it authentic. It honestly feels lazy. Like the dev just copied PSO, changed the theme, and rushed it out to capitalize on Super Bowl hype. The timing makes it painfully obvious this is a cash grab rather than a passion project. Between recycled gameplay, horrible movement, zero innovation, lack of skill expression and a developer who treats his own community like garbage, there is absolutely no reason to support this. Do not recommend. Save your money. Save your sanity.
I was an early playtester for this game, and the community was damaged before launch. Testers were promised free keys at release in exchange for feedback. When feedback was given, it often escalated into arguments. Disagreements turned hostile quickly, and communication with the developer regularly broke down hauling words at us that is not politically correct to say to this day. Yes, some banned members later crossed serious lines, including harassment and doxxing. That made things worse. But the relationship between the solo developer and the community was already unstable. Then we woke up to this announcement: "I'm going to get the game ready for release ASAP and probably dip unless it makes a lot of money, Congrats, you ruined yet another community and you don't deserve my efftort" Shortly after, the promised playtest keys were revoked. Testers who were told they would keep access at launch were forced to buy the game again. That decision killed the launch. Most early supporters walked away — not out of spite, but because trust was gone. Without the original testers filling lobbies, the game released to empty servers. Now there are 0 online players. The developer believes the community is holding a grudge. From my perspective, it’s not a grudge — it’s mistrust. The idea had potential. But once you burn your core supporters, it’s very hard to recover. AWESOME GAME WITH LOVING MUSLIM COMMUNITY MASHALLAH!!! Yo I called out the Dev for ghosting his community and getting bullied out of his own discord and he banned me LMAO guys the game is already dead, also brylos has a DUI btw.
I tried my best to give this game a chance, to give its dev a chance, and to block out the storms of hate and nay sayers. This reivew is my own personal reflection in realizing the voices of naysayers were right from the beginning. I believe the biggest factor in the failure of this game was the developer himself. I myself was a beta tester brought in to play with old friends from a similar games community hoping to find a new game to spend my time on with my friends of days gone by. From the first day I was warned of the dev character 'Brylos' and how he had an extremely fragile ego. I took this with a grain of salt and did everything in my power to try to keep out of that and see the game for what it is. I tested this game for 26 hours of play time, time i will never get back because this developer true to the warnings was a GIANT crybaby who wouldnt take feedback without a full blown meltdown. Three major event that should tell you about his character include asking players to play test a new patch then banning people who were critical about bugs and exploits caused by his patch, only valueing a quick buck and stating openly that he would only complete the game if it popped off on steam and made him a ton of money, calling people random slurs when he got mad at them. This is a narcassistic manchild developer who hit the lottery by making his other game Pro Soccer Online and cannot get around his own ego to continue his success. If you consider buying this game consider the fact the you will be giving the worlds largest drunk driving man baby money to continue living in his own world where he isnt the problem and everyone else is. If i could give any reader of this review a peice of advice, DO NOT BUY GAMES FROM THIS DEVELOPER UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY.
Give it a shot , its a mix of gridiron and roblox and yeah its easy to look away based on the graphics but if you were a fan of Pro Soccer Online and you like American Football you'll easily have fun on this game honestly brought me back to the good ole days of gaming
