About
Set on a mysterious island, this game is a top-down single player pixel life-sim and island survival experience. You begin with nothing but your surroundings and must gather resources, craft, set up a camp, and slowly create a life for yourself, with 6 (mostly)loveable strangers while uncovering the secrets of the island.
Explore diverse environments, chop trees, farm crops, cook food, and make a home for you and your fellow survivors. As you progress, unlock new crafting such as pottery, baking, and building customizable homes. Progress through the story as you please, and discover the mysteries that lie within the mountains... or just build a whole village and never leave, your choice!
The island is home to characters you can meet, talk to, and build relationships with over time. Get to know their routines, personalities, and stories through casual conversations and shared moments. Relationships grow naturally as days pass, opening up new interactions, events, and personal storylines. How you spend your time, and who you spend it with matters.
Live your island life at your own pace, and discover what darker mysteries this colorful island may hold.

Hi Nicole! I am going to assume you are an independent developer, and I want to say.. that's gotta be HARD! I saw your game posted in my cozy games group on facebook, and I'm always down to help solo devs! That being said: I did not even put 10 minutes into the game and I had it refunded. I just couldn't do it. The controls are wonky, some graphics hurt my eyes and there is absolutely zero direction. I found the quests tab but nothing pops up to let you know you collected anything or finish a quest. The UI is not user friendly and I found myself super confused off the bat. I was told to craft something, but I wasn't told how to craft. This seems like a very early beta demo at best and I don't think its worth $12.99. I really hope you continue to develop this into something great. I'll be keeping my eye on it!
I bought this game because someone had posted it in a group that I am in on Facebook. I reaaaally wanted to like this game but after about an hour I gave up and refunded it. I will try to do my best to explain exactly what made it unplayable for me. Immediately loading in the graphics were not great. The giant clock in the right corner is a genuine eyesore and should be made smaller. The UI is not good. Interacting with various items using E is good, but the fact that i have to exit my chest etc using ESC got really annoying. Also the fact that when I wanted to unload my inventory into my chest, I had to physically add each item to my tool bar so that I could get it into the chest since your actual inventory is hidden behing the chest inventory box. I had constant tool glitches where when I went to fish my rod would get locked in the casting animation and I had to exit the game to fix it. I also couldn't figure out how to use the crafting bench after building it. It said to open up my survival book to access the crafting bench menu but I genuinely couldn't locate it. There was a menu with a house icon but I was never able to access it. There is also no way of picking up chests etc after you have placed them down which I really did not like. The energy system is unbalanced. Your hunger bar runs out way to fast making exploration nearly impossible. The RNG on catching fish is also unbalanced since you basically just get crab legs, cloth and rope. Fish almost never dropped for me. The crafting is also incredibly tedious. Using the minecraft crafting model is fine but the fact that I can't have my inventory open at the same time as the crafting recipes got annoying. Having to constantly switch between the two menu's was rough. If the game was cheaper then I might have kept it but paying 13,49€ for a game that absolutely does not feel finished I just can't do. That said the concept of the game genuinely did sound so much fun and I will be following your game for future updates.

So this feels more like a rough demo than an actual game. There is no guideline on what to do, and it feels like a mismatch of concepts than something to actually play. There are two guidelines in the top left corner telling you the buttons to a "guide" and your "quests". Beyond them you are totally on your own, figuring out how to even interact with people and items. Sometimes you get popups that you've picked something up, other times you don't. Items in your inventory have no names, tags, or descriptions of any kind so it's a crapshoot to guess what you have at all and there are only a couple of basic recipes for your minecraft style crafting system. There's also a massive clock taking up the entire top right ( and honestly nearly half) side of the screen that blocks the view of the terrain and with no map that I can find, it's really quite difficult to navigate. Maybe I'm giving up too soon on what could be a gem of a game, but it just feels extremely unfinished and unpolished and not worth it in its current state.
i love the art in this game. That's what drew me to it! I commend the effort it took to create this game. I happened to stumble upon it on TikTok and felt compelled to try it out. I look forward to updates and your future. games! Its actually pretty fun once you figure out how to craft and find the other people
I really like this game. I would say my favorite thing about it is the ability to play and not feel rushed. This game does a good job of balancing between story and the freedom to play on your own. While I was waiting for my seeds to grow I was able to explore the whole map (which is beautiful). Taking me to my next positive for the game which is the art. I think you can tell that there is a lot of effort put into the art and the island has many different looking areas. For example the way that the light reflects on the ice biome looks amazing. I also think it's really cool how you take this game which is a top view and you change perspectives to a platform like style. It is very creative. The movement can be a bit clunky, but the rest of the game makes me look past that. Reading some of the other reviews I see people talking about the lack of direction. While that is a negative, I look at it as a positive. I think it is kind of cool that you are exploring yourself. You are given enough information to get started, but you have to do a little work yourself (I won't lie it took me a while to find the 3rd seed!). Overall I really like this game, looking forward to other games!
I want to start with, I'm not refunding this. I see the vision and i can see It becoming a fun game. 1. There needs to be a tutorial of some sort. As someone who plays ALOT of farming games, this game has some mechanics that are very different from most games in the genre. 2. A light outline for interactable things would be nice. It doesn't need to be obvious, but I'm playing it and I still am struggling to find seeds from the what, second quest? It's not obvious what is interactable and what is just set dressing, but in a frustrating way? 3. Explanation about what those figures on the clock mean in the corner. After an ingame day or so, I could guess it, but it wasn't clear at all. It is mostly still just a guess for right now. 4. The ability to pin quests to the side. It's seen in a lot of similar games in the genre and just makes it better, especially over what is in the side currently. 5. I feel like the TAB and B keys can be combined? Like, the guides could be in one place instead of scattered? I will continue playing and add/change things as I come across
I think this game is super cute. Any of the original control issues I had were fixed after talking to the developer, so getting into a new save of the game is a lot easier. Me and my little orange cat against the world.
