From the smallest hatchling to the apex predator, every life is a unique journey of survival and evolution. Primeval delivers a dual-mode sandbox designed for every type of survival player. Whether you want to conquer a persistent online ecosystem alongside other players, or test your skills in a distraction-free solo world, your journey is entirely your own.
A World Without Limits
Roam across land, sea, and sky. Whether you are soaring as a Pteranodon, prowling the brush as a Tyrannosaurus, or haunting the deep as a Megalodon, the entire prehistoric world is your playground.
UNIFIED CROSS-MODE PROGRESSION
Your time is valuable, and your legacy is persistent. In Primeval, your growth, unlocked talents, and creature stats seamlessly transfer between single-player and multiplayer modes. Grow your hatchling safely in a solo world, then bring your fully evolved adult onto 150-player servers to dominate online—or retreat back to single-player to recover after a brutal battle.
TWO DISTINCT WAYS TO SURVIVE
Massive 150-Player Servers: Immerse yourself in a living, player-driven world. Form defensive herds of titanic herbivores, organize deadly hunting packs to execute coordinated ambushes, and claim highly contested territories online.
Immersive Single-Player Mode: Experience the entire game with zero lag and zero raids. Enjoy a responsive solo sandbox where you dictate the pace of the ecosystem.
Evolve. Adapt. Conquer.
This isn’t just a walking simulator. Your survival depends on your choices:
Grow & Mature: Experience a full life cycle. Start as a vulnerable hatchling and fight to reach adulthood.

I really like it:) Its definetly worth that 3 dollars.
For $1 you get what you pay for. I'm indifferent; Ignore the rating. Pros: +Lots of dinosaurs +Cheap +Singleplayer and multiplayer Cons: -Lots of bug -Poor coding -Poor model animations -Poor audio
The only think i think needs fixing are when we are hatchlings we cant see above the grass and the Dinos sometimes stay running in the same place the bots i mean , the rest of the game is fun has alot of bots and quests to make thanks for the updates of the game recently awsome i Recomend this game for all people to play very diferent game from the others none of the other dino game have alots of bots like this one has apreciat the owner of the game for making the gmae dont fell empty ^^
------2026 March------------- I can´t enjoy it because I can´t use a gamepad, I wrote about it a year ago to the dev but it does´nt seem it will come. I can´t leave a positive review now since I need a gamepad to enjoy it. If those things are fixed I will change it to a positive. + A lots of new Dinos and others and constant patches coming - Input to change keys in game still bugged in mainmenu - Still no gamepad support ------2025 February---------- + Very friendly Dev I know he is waiting for some sort of assetpack or similar to be used with his game, but it hasn´t been released yet. He is dividing his time with the developement with a new non dino game and playing piano but I still got hopes for gamepad support and that the multipayer will get back even though I get my Dino PVP kick from Path of titans allready. Still I do recommend it but for I can´t say I enjoy it anymore since there is no gamepad support. But I´m following the project and hope it will feature gamepadsupport and more options for the graphics. When I play dinosaur games now its: 1. Path of titans 2. The isle of Yore 3. Saurian 4. Primeval. + Lots of dinos - Few updates. There was a patch in October 2025 and now 2 patches in Januari with a new dino. - Fps 30-32 - Bushes and leafs from trees move at x2 speed. - Gamepad is not supported anymore it seems - Extremly limited options to increase FPS in the graphics options I have win10, RTX 2060 6GB, 24GB Ram, i7-6700CPU 3.40GHz. It´s not a strong computer but I can play Path of titans maxed out and also The isle at better framerate.
I like to play dinosaur game... How to play this game? Every map, how can you win, or is there no victory? Keep Dragons until you don't want to? Eat meat too slowly. Not Yet Chinese. Can not find winning conditions, tips, translation for a long time did not find
could be a good game but not like this. performance is real bad, i barely can get above 20fps even on lower settings and 1368x768 resolution (i had to lower the resolution too just to make it playable)... no, my pc is not that bad. graphics looks like something from late 2000s at best. there is only 2 graphics option to change... an option to start as adult dinosaur would be nice. hatchling dinosaurs are so small when i first time saw it, it gave me a good laugh game is also often just crash. i hope it will get the fix it deserve and then i can recommend it. edit: last time i played was few month ago and the graphics look even worse, the performance got better, but not much. i came back to check the game again today and its freez on loading screen everytime. not recommend it, there are way better games
no way to save progress i left for 30 seconds to the main menu to check something and went stright back to hatchling when i had just gone up a growth phase
es hat vlt die ein oder anderen bugs aber dafür das ein indie game ist ,ist es mega gut,es gibht viele dinos "fische" etc zur auswahl und auch geile maps. Was mich freuen würde ist wenn der multiplayer mal rauskommen würde
I love the game but i am going to point out bug first so that you can fix these. bugs 4 out the 5 times i hit evolution i exit out of the tab and i can only do these thing main menu, options, attack, rest, and eat. only worked with my Spinosaurs the other 4 was with land dinos. With the quezulcalatlus if i landed i couldn't walk or glide again. if you click on multiple dinos in the seletion screen it will crash, found that out trying to compare stats opinions I couldn't get Spinosaurs under water but he could get into water after he died. mabye i dind't do it right. with those these 4 things in mind i still love this game a lot it is pretty good. i say it is worth 2x it is amzing and you will lose track of time. thanks for this amazing game.
To meany bug to really enjoy. Come back in a year or two.
