I generally enjoy AVNs and a good story but rarely does it make me SMILE and FEEL GOOD the entire time. Price of Power is just a wholesome adventure like in the old days. No morally grey good guy who you struggle to root for. The LIs are interesting, challenging, and supportive. It's just great.
Storyline is thoughtful, and provoking as well as fun, its not all just getting your rocks off. I highly recommend it.
A truly copious amount of text, relative to the adult relationships - of which only one had sufficient scenes. The ~30 minutes of playtime might suggest I bailed early - nope. I used Skip Unseen Text once it became clear the story was boring and weird (odd combination, that). So it took half an hour at full skip speed to review the ratio of text to scenes. Maybe I'll pick up and read this VN as some point - but I doubt it, because there's no "A" (adult) in the AVN - and there's plenty of better IF novels if there's no Adult aspect of note.
This is so cool i love how you have put the story together. I think the sci fi part is cool too. honestly i can not wait for the next episodes . Pl say that they right not too far away. I hop you going to make more novels too please. kudos to the artists and writers thank you ; ) (:
[Epilogue 3: 29h] I enjoyed this AVN. I definitely want more of the story, and it's been that way the whole time. I'll happily buy another game in this series. It's like a classic farmboy fantasy, at least at first. With a childhood friend LI. Your romance with her is really great. You're essentially both virgins in a culture that taught you nothing about sex. But that isn't the focus of the story. The worldbuilding is excellent here. And surprisingly plausible, unfortunately. While it is usually serious in tone with its epic fantasy vibes, I ended up laughing a lot during this. My personal notes about this game amount to nearly 10000 characters. A decent portion of that is speculation about the nature of a certain anomaly that presents itself in the early game. Notes about the characters and their motivations, and the inferences I've drawn from scenes. I enjoyed the plot. I was always actively engaged in the flow of events. I enjoyed the characters. From my personal notes: > I like how pretty much everyone acts "badly". They let their emotions get the better of them; they forget stuff and pay the price; they fall prey to fear and weakness. But they learn, and grow, and move forward. Some of the scenes were pretty hot. The early ones were sweet. In terms of weaknesses, I'd say the renders and videos. And while I haven't finished the game yet, I can tell you that I probably will be left wanting more and never getting it. Each of the epilogues I've played thus far has been too short. Hopefully it will come to a satisfying conclusion.
Even though the story is boring in a lot of places, and they talk way too much, it felt like a complete story. Some spelling and grammar mistakes throughout. But nothing too serious. The artwork is ok. For being a 2025 release, I was expecting better though. A couple places got wonky with a claymation style. But the rest looked ok. Not a lot of choices in this though. Which is fine, for making it a linear story. I liked that the intimate scenes were placed tactfully. Nothing over the top. Kind of reminded me of those romance novels you'd catch women reading every now and then. Definitely had that feel to it. Which I guess it's why some of it felt drug out and boring in places. For what it is... The story, and decent enough artwork, I'm going to recommend this. If it had artwork like Summer's Gone, it would have been in my top 5 for the year. As it is now, it's somewhere in my top 10. Hopefully they come out with another Epilogue, that shows the women with their firstborns, and ready to spit out the next ones. And maybe with a few more women from the remnants. LoL
Unfortunately only a slideshow. Not a single decision that really matters. Story and graphics would be fine, but you can watch a video or read a book instad of that "game".
I don't often post reviews, but I very much liked the story with this game. It drew me in and was hard to stop playing. The story took its time to build the relationships -- it didn't just jump into sex scenes for no apparent reason. That said, if you are just looking for lewd material, this is probably not the game for you. There is a slow buildup to the lewd stuff but that is because it is how the story unfolds.
The story starts out interesting, but gets quickly bogged down with a lot of exposition. The adult scenes are not erotic and generally robotic and sort of awkward.
