In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Many modern games just hold your hand or fill a map with boring checklists, Prey completely trusts you to be smart. The story hooks you immediately. The opening twist blew my mind, and it sets up this super creepy sci-fi mystery where you're trapped on a space station with shape-shifting aliens. The combat forces you to get creative. You can't just run and gun because ammo is always tight. Instead, you have to use wild tools like the GLOO Cannon to freeze terrifying monsters, or unlock alien powers to blast them. The player freedom is unmatched. If you find a locked security door, the game never tells you how to fix it. You can hack it, find a hidden vent, use a toy foam crossbow to shoot the unlock button through a broken window, or use alien powers to turn yourself into a coffee mug and roll through a tiny gap.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Dobra
Just not really having fun. There's no reason to really kill anything, the next time you go through there there's just gonna be more enemies that are also stronger. I'm trying to conserve resources while looting the snot out of everything I can and it just feels like it's a struggle to keep stocked up on anything useful. I can see where the appeal is, if you like constantly feeling behind and getting smacked around for it this is great for you. For me this is a chore i'm not willing to put up with anymore. There's a story difficulty that I might switch it up to later. But for the moment I think i'm going to uninstall this and move on to something else.
The best immersive sim. It's a little bit scary (and confusing) at the beginning, but it's very fun to explore and get to know everyone (dead of alive) in this huge space station. On top of that, Benedict Wong is in the game.
Always come back to this, and still hopeful for a Prey 2 by Arkane 😭
Vraiment cool ! un kiff !
My second favourite Arkane game after Deathloop. Tons of viable character builds, choices and actions really matter and affect the world and story, exploration is well-rewarded. Solid voice acting (and lots of it), super fun to play. As with the Dishonored games, the game world art is a little... stylised (in a sort of low-poly way), but I personally think it holds up pretty well. Great game, had a blast, 9/10.
