In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Excellent storytelling – layered though optional. The player has incredible control over the progression of the game, but is nudged to discover more through the promise of additional resource and lore. The skills are interesting and fun to play with while not being overpowered or overwhelming (in terms of controls; the options are many but I think it's a great balance, where a Reddit guide should suffice for beginners like me). The scenes are realistic (as in, the rooms make sense for their various purposes (except the crew quarters, which has accommodation only for the main characters, but it is a sensible choice from a gameplay perspective). The lower difficulties are well-tuned and do not sacrifice the tension in its entirety – difficult to say for most other games. I could not recommend this game more – especially since it's a somewhat old game now, which means it should run fine on modern hardware. I played the game on my MacBook Air M2 on macOS 27 through CrossOver and it ran okay, with significant heating though.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the best games you will play that you have never heard of. If you like exploring lore, this is your game. Amazing levels of detail, atmosphere, and music. I could not recommend this game enough.
Très bon jeu, le level design est très très bon. Il aurait mériter un meilleur accueil quand il est sortie.
good
This holds up like crazy! The love and attention poured into this game is obvious from the outset - I enjoyed Dishonoured, but it never really *clicked* for me. This, on the other hand... Explore a gorgeous and excellently realised space station, get creeped out by aliens, fight, hack, sneak and collect and craft ♥♥♥♥, in a beautifully realised 'open' (but still hand-crafted) environment. The pacing is excellent, with an early-game focus on a sci-fi story and characters that I found very engaging, which later opens up into broader exploration, and maybe some power-tripping (depending on how you decide to spec!). I'm a real sucker for world exploration, and the amount of environmental love on show here is crazy. Don't forget to look up and down! Finding a path behind a moveable object, getting the drop on a creature from secret a crawlspace, finding a hidden note behind a missing panel, using the boltcaster to press a button from a distance... this game's delivers that sweet sweet exploration endorphin hit time after time. Also of special note is the level of player convenience on show. It's the little things - the menus are a dream (even on controller), audio logs keep playing wheter you are in or out of menus (incredible how this STILL isn't in every game), the collectathon achievements unlock at slightly under 100%, you can quit straight to desktop, quick save and quick load are smooth as heck, and so on. Hats off to the team for your hard work on this. Thanks for the recommendation Chris. The kinda bland presentation/game branding just never grabbed me, but now this is going on my all-time classics list... above Dishonoured!
merece la pena.
Its like Bioshock 1-2 combined with Dead Space but in very low quality gameplay. Its not fun game for my opinion.
好。
Coming back for a replay after 6 years, still a masterpiece
