Pre-Odyssey: Love at First Quack

I found this game on Itch.Io the first time I played it and absolutely enjoyed it. Playing the full version now is amazing. I really loved the true ending as well as the addition of lore. The quotes from Odysseus are hilarious and I love the detail of having Telemachus being able to talk to dolphins, a nice tie into him being saved by dolphins, as Penelope was saved by ducks. I would absolutely recommend this game to any fans of the Odyssey or Epic the Musical since this is an incredible game and a great spin on the story of Odysseus and Penelope. 10/10 would absolute recommend.

As a huge fan of Greek mythology, I was instantly intrigued by the premise, and I’m so happy to say it didn’t disappoint. The mix of myth, romance, and comedy (yes, including the ducks🦆) was so unique and refreshing. It’s the kind of game that makes you smile the whole way through. If you’re looking for a short but sweet otome game with a mythological twist, this is a hidden gem worth quacking about. Story, Artwork & Soundtrack The story is playful yet rich with references to Greek myth, adding fun reinterpretations without ever feeling heavy or too serious. The pacing was great, keeping me engaged while also giving space for the characters to shine. The art is gorgeous with expressive characters and vibrant backgrounds that brought the mythological world to life in such a dreamy way. The designs were perfect for the tone of the story: charming, slightly whimsical, but with elegance. The soundtrack was also a delight! Light, melodic, and fitting for both the comedic and more romantic scenes. It really added to the cozy, immersive feel of the game. Voice Acting While the voice acting was brief, I absolutely loved the voice for Odysseus. It matched how I imagined him sounding, confident, smooth, with a hint of mystery. It added an extra layer of immersion, and I wish there had been even more of it! OVERALL: Story: 9/10 Art: 9/10 Romance: 8/10 Drama: 9/10 Total otome points: 9/10

Una fantastica visual novel otome assolutamente coinvolgente per divertimento e romanticismo. I due personaggi principali nelle numerose scelte vi conquisteranno. Eh si, anche le papere vi conquisteranno! Davvero un gran gioco che consiglio a tutti gli appassionati del genere. Sbloccare tutto non è affatto facile, ma risulta piacevolissima da rigiocare. to be honest, this is the best game I've played in the past few years, considering that I learned about Odysseus from the musical, and it was very nice for me to see a hint of the musical in the achievements. Anta, thank you very much, I hope in the future they will add more illustrations and make Tyndareus and Odysseus' "Friends", Penelope's father and much more.

I had played this game back in its NaNoRenO version and enjoyed it quite a bit! Seeing the improvements, from the new art to the beautiful voice acting was delightful! I hope more people play it!

A fairly weird but pretty sweet and amusing game. I don't think it [i]always[/i] stuck the landing with its humour but it did a good job for the most part. It's pretty short - I was able to 100% the whole thing in 3.1 hours. The lore unlocks were a nice touch.
