BECAUSE THERE ARE 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ... JOBS
Too many DLC's
(actually the price is what irks me, even on sale those '3-4 level containers' are too much)... You can put a flashy cutscene on it (back to the future) and you can make me giddy (sponge bob, FF) with childhood places/memories but the fact remains that the base game is 70% of the content and 1 single DLC cost as much as 70% of that... Licenses are expensive of course but why Alice cost as much as the others for example? Is EA asking that much money? What about Gromit?. Not to mention that the same business is going on around the second game... Edit: it's FREE domain Alice... No words for the abusive pricing... Yes I finally broke the piggy bank and got them, but still salty as a cracker...
Actual review:
Game is unrivaled on the 'simulator" scene both in quality and gameplay (there is not annoyances, no water spills, no damaging electronics, no having to refill water, no having to manage a company, it's just you with the grime, 'the sleazy, dirty, mockery grime' and you 'uber duper power washing monster' that can tear apart the fiber of reality... one pixel at a time, just mindless fun for the whole family). The satisfaction is real, this is a truly comfort game, but of course there is only 1 activity, if you don't fashion doing 1 single thing consider playing something else. 9/10 could have some more water effects, specially on the floor even if they disappear after a while. Second game is the same, for some reason Power Washing dude/dudette is now a mascot type of character and it just works. I love him, bring him to Smash so Nintendo can learn what a good game is. That said, the Switch version made me buy the Steam version (minus DLC's), not only a downgrade on gameplay even with gyro controls but a messy indistinguishable blur of low resolution textures and even less water effects... PC version + Reshade is better than Unreal 5 with minimal PC requirements.
very satisfying, very fun. I do dislike how difficult it is to get rid of the rust but I guess thats the realistic part
