PowerWash Simulator 2 - STAR WARS Pack

While cleaning the AT-AT with my bestie, we kept swapping places usually while one or both of us was on the sling, it was rather hilarious to be honest.

Packaging 6 extra maps as a dlc with Star Wars label on it without anything cool and special like a jetpack. Just a corpo slop

It's pretty disappointing considering the game demo highlighted the multistage feature, yet there's only one mission in the entire DLC that actually utilizes it, a bit of a letdown.

Bought this item but it won't activate ingame

As someone who has been waiting for a pack like this for a while, I have to say... not half bad, at least so far! The very first job, the homestead, is probably one of my favorites in the game as a whole and features a nice combination of large, open surfaces and smaller objects to clean; it looks great, plays well, and it even has a cool droid to annoy. The next job, the bar, was alright; a little bit on the repetitive side due to the same-ish-looking alcoves, but perfectly fine. I liked the many small props on the tables and chairs, they really help break things up a little and give you some quick and satisfying dopamine hits. Then comes the giant Walker job; this one was quite tricky but not TOO bad overall: think WH40k mech on super-steroids. Er, ok, probably completely lost you with that analogy, but it really wasn't that bad: cleared it in about 45 minutes by sniping its underside from the ground, using the abseiling equipment to clear the back and sides, and, finally, setting up the scaffolding to reach the top and parkouring across the 'body' and 'head'. It just needs a bit of planning to minimize how much you need to mess around with the scaffolding and harness. If I have one complaint about this one, it's more to do with the way the abseiling equipment works in general, in that it'll eject you when you hit the ground, which will happen A LOT if you're not paying too close attention. I really wish it'd lock you in until you press the 'use' key to dismount, instead. The next level is the Starship Bridge, which I'm currently on; after the Walker, I'm happy to report that this job feels refreshingly straightforward: lots of flat surfaces, many screens and doodads for quick dings. It also looks really cool and I confess that I've spent more time than I should have just staring out the windows into literal space, taking in the view. That being said though, there is one aspect of this DLC that's a big letdown, and that's the way the lore was handled: I think I speak for quite a few fans of both the game and sci-fi in general when I say that, after waiting for Power Wash Sim to get their hands on this IP for so damn long, it really is inexcusable that we didn't get ANY dialogue from any of the iconic characters that you'd expect out of a Space Balls-themed DLC! There's no Barf, no President Skroob, no Dark Helmet, no Dot... oh, were you expecting to talk to Lone Starr? Well, too bad, here's *something* Sky Walker instead! Yes, really. I don't know, I'm guessing this must have been some kind of licensing issue, especially since some of these knockoff characters do kind of sound like the beloved originals... but, still... pretty weak. Also, there's no raspberry jam on any of the screens on the Starship Bridge, either; no VHS shelf, no giant comb in the desert homestead, no Winnebago... like, guys, did you even SEE the source material? D: Still, gross mishandling of the IP aside, I still think this is a pretty solid DLC: sure, it's not perfect, but it plays well (for the most part), looks great visually, and, hey, it's more power washing, and more power washing is always good.
