The art in the game was absolutely derpy - which makes it really adorable. The game was very easy to learn and understand - anyone would be able to pick it up quick. I enjoyed figuring out the patterns of the different mobs and strategies to deal with them. It would be great if we could choose which level to start the gameplay from instead of having to complete every level when we die - however that can be easily improved when more game modes are released! Looking forward to more updates and more game modes!
TossedBloom Studio's first game, Potato Cop, is a wonderful rogue-like game that allows you to control a potato cop that peels the naughty mafia potatoes in your journey to defeat Shepherd's Pie. While this game looks deceptively simple and easy to pick up, it is hard to master, especially beating the elusive achievements that requires you to beat Easy and Hard difficulties in 3 and 4 minutes respectively. I enjoyed the cute graphics and the difficulty curve of this game. However, I don't see much difference in terms of difficulty between Easy and Hard, except lower health regeneration and new moves for certain enemies. Other than that, the game has potential to go far if there are new level designs, enemies and including stats for the main character to be more resistant to the hard hitting enemies featured. Overall, I commend TossedBloom Studios for an enjoyable game for such a reasonable price! I am looking forward to sink in more hours to 100% the game.
The game is a lot of fun and a first experience into these types of games. I had a lot of fun with it and the art is very nice and cute. It's definitely a nice game to chill out with. Played on controller and K&M. I think regardless of your preference it works well and you'll have some fun with it :)
